After Uchiha Itachi and Kisame Hoshigaki infiltrated Konoha, Kakashi noticed something unusual about them at a dessert shop. By chance, he ran into Asuma and Kurenai Yuhi and greeted them.

"Yo, you two look pretty close."

Kurenai Yuhi immediately blushed. "Idiot, Anko just asked me to buy some dango."

Asuma, on the other hand, remained perfectly composed. "What are you doing in a place like this?"

"Nothing much. I came to buy some offerings and wait for Sasuke."

As he spoke, Kakashi signaled toward the inside of the dessert shop. Asuma immediately spotted the strangely dressed pair inside, while Uchiha Itachi's eyelid twitched slightly upon hearing Sasuke's name.

"It's really rare for you to wait for someone. Are those offerings for Obito?"

"That's right."

The two inside put down their desserts, paid the bill, and left. Just then, Sasuke approached from the opposite direction. "Kakashi, it's really unusual for you to arrive early."
