She is decisive under pressure. She chooses to pursue an escaping gray-robed ritualist despite her injuries, performs a dangerous healing technique to save Lin Ye, and later accepts the duty of escaping with Shui Linglong and carrying news of the Blood Fiend Hall’s conspiracy. 38 40 50

Background / History

Su Muxue first appears among the inner sect disciples gathered at the entrance to the Xuanhuang Secret Realm. She observes Lin Ye’s sword before looking away, maintaining the distance and scrutiny shared by the other entrants. 24

During the secret realm expedition, she is wounded by an ambush and poisoned in the Bone-Eroding Forest. Lin Ye finds her unconscious and suppresses the Bone-Eroding poison; after awakening, she exchanges intelligence for his help. She reveals that masked attackers using Blood Fiend Hall methods had targeted her and suspects that the Shuiyue Token in her possession was one of their objectives. 31 32

Su Muxue and Lin Ye form a temporary alliance to investigate the teleportation array marked on her map. They intervene when Blood Fiend Hall assassins attack Chen Feng’s group, then travel together to the ruined array. Su Muxue sacrifices a high-grade spirit stone entrusted to her by her master so Lin Ye can repair and activate it. 32 33

After the group enters the deeper caverns, she fights alongside Lin Ye against the Earth Dragons and witnesses his unsettling ability to devour their life essence. At the blood-sacrifice altar, she insists that the ritual must be stopped and remains ready to assist even after Lin Ye orders her to retreat. 35 36

When Lin Ye is gravely wounded after the battle with the gray-robed ritualists, Su Muxue pursues and kills the fleeing survivor to prevent him from reporting back. She then uses the Ice-Sealing Rejuvenation Technique to stabilize Lin Ye, enduring backlash while harmonizing Earth Vein energy for his treatment. 38 39

During Lin Ye’s three-day recovery, Su Muxue helps defend him from Gold-Devouring Iron Beetles and prepares to burn her origin to confront the corrupted earth-vein will. Lin Ye awakens and devours the entity before she can unleash the technique. 40

She continues traveling with Lin Ye and Chen Feng through the Edge of Guixu, the Molten Wasteland, Wind-Erosion Canyon, and the Blood Fiend Hills. She repeatedly tends to Chen Feng’s injuries, supports Lin Ye during his periods of unconsciousness, and assists the group’s combat retreats. 41 44 49

After Shui Linglong entrusts her with the Shuiyue Token and evidence of the Blood Fiend Hall’s plot, Su Muxue activates the token with her Ice Heart Blood. She escapes with the unconscious Shui Linglong through its one-person passage while Chen Feng remains behind to buy them time. 50
