David understood, of course. With the City Defense Brigade backing him, Jim could get away with having a few light firearms in a small city like this. As long as he didn't touch any heavy equipment, no one would question it.
On administrative planets in the war zones of a battle planet like Panshi Planet, weapons were never regulated too strictly.
Sometimes the Military even encouraged people to practice with various firearms, so they could be put to use when needed.
The Military wasn't really worried about firearms. The only thing that needed strict control was Armored Warriors. Civilian Armored Warriors were far more dangerous than these light firearms.
"Here's what you asked for!" Jim returned, carrying a long rectangular case in one hand and an ammunition box in the other.
The strain in his arm showed that the rectangular case was quite heavy.
The case hit the ground with a dull thud.
"David, I'll take the first turn. You can try it after me!" Myron said as he opened the case.
David nodded and looked inside.
When Myron opened the case, it revealed the body of a Sniper Rifle. He took out the barrel, stock, and other parts, then began assembling them.
"What's this?" David asked, eyeing the familiar-looking Sniper Rifle with uncertainty.
If it were a little longer, with a bigger body, he would have thought it was a Sniper Rifle designed for Sniper Armored Warriors.
"This is a replica of the Eye of Death. It's not as powerful as the real one, but it's a scaled-down version based on the original. Lots of Sniper Armored Warriors train with replicas like this!"
