Jim picked up a D200 Assault Rifle, and Daili chose the same weapon. They wanted to maintain a solid volume of fire while maximizing their killing power, so neither had chosen anything too unusual.

"David, do you want to pick a gun as a backup?" Jim asked when he saw Myron holding David's replica Eye of Death.

"Jim, I'm good. I've got this!" David replied with a grin, patting the sword sheath on his back.

"David, we're not Armored Warriors. Cold weapons may sound powerful, but it depends on who's using them!" Dequincy said. Though he wasn't very friendly toward David because of how close he was to Myron, he meant no harm and was only trying to advise him.

"Don't worry about him. David's a genius!" Myron said, turning around.

Jim immediately fell silent. The last time Myron had said that, David had used the replica Eye of Death to pass the Military Sniper Training Ground assessment outright.

Seeing Jim say nothing, the others stopped trying to talk David out of it, too.

In any case, the weapons everyone had with them were more than enough to handle any trouble they might encounter.
