"Jim, they're just leaving us here?" Myron asked in surprise, looking at Jim in disbelief.
"What can I do? That's just how the Military Police operate. Even my father can't do anything about them!" Jim said with a bitter smile.
"Let's not talk about it. We should get out of here, quickly!" Daili looked around and reminded them.
Fortunately, the man with the heavy machine gun had been shot dead, which had frightened everyone nearby. No one came looking for trouble with them now.
But this was the most chaotic part of the city, and they didn't want to stay long.
They flagged down a public transit hovercar and, amid many angry stares, finally left the area where the Crows gathered.
