"Could you tell me what kind of creature a Shadow Winged Dragon is? What are its characteristics?" After hearing Armand, the level-five Temple Knight, call the little fellow by its name, David became even more curious and asked.

In God's Great World, any creature with "dragon" in its name was considered to have dragon blood in its body.

"Duke Arthur, of course. It would be my honor!" The smile on Armand's face grew wider. David's attitude gave him hope that the conflict between them could be resolved. He might even take this opportunity to become friends with this powerful young knight.

He exchanged a glance with Anselm. Their many years of association meant they immediately understood that they were thinking the same thing.

"The Shadow Winged Dragon appeared in ancient times, when giant dragons still soared through the skies. The dragons' promiscuity gave rise to countless creatures with dragon blood, among them the Shadow Winged Dragon.

"Shadow Winged Dragons generally possess the abilities of invisibility and silent flight. This is related to the dark energy within their bodies. In ancient times, they became mounts for the servants of the Ancient Gods.

"However, with the end of the dragon era, creatures with dragon blood vanished in great numbers. Nowadays, creatures said to possess dragon blood only have an extremely thin trace of it, vastly different from true dragon-blooded creatures." Armand explained to David.

David turned to look at the little Shadow Winged Dragon. He truly had not realized this little fellow was an ancient species. Could the aesthetics of ancient times have been that different from those of the present?

What he did not know was that few creatures with dragon blood were attractive.

Powerful bloodlines gave creatures savage appearances and greater intimidation toward other living beings.
