Lord Gould came this time without any attendants or fanfare. He was more like someone here to back David up, with only Baron Blackmer accompanying him.

This Level 4 Sky Knight of the Mein Family, Charlie's uncle, did not even have the standing to speak before David now. He merely stood respectfully to one side.

David was about to lead Lord Gould to rest when Lord Gould raised a hand to stop him. Looking toward an approaching alchemical carriage, a smile appeared on his face.

"Temple Knight Annabella of the War God Temple has arrived!" Butler Jason announced as soon as the alchemical carriage came to a stop.

Temple Knight Annabella, who stepped down from the alchemical carriage, had likewise come in person. She casually waved at Lord Gould when she saw him, then smiled and bowed to David.

"Temple Knight Annabella, welcome," David said with a bow.

"Duke Arthur, Gould has praised your culinary skills before me, saying they are unmatched in the world. Since you are cooking personally this time, I simply had to come and have a proper taste!" Temple Knight Annabella said with a smile.

Temple Knight Annabella held a special status. Aside from Lord Gould, even Bishop McKinley in the distance rose to his feet and bowed to her.

Minister of Noble Affairs Geshwen and Priest Forbes exchanged bitter smiles. Even if they wanted to help, they had no way to intervene. Guests of this rank could only be received personally by David.

David did not need to worry much about the Level 5 Temple Knight Annabella. Lord Gould led her toward the rest area.

Both were Level 5 Temple Knights and friends besides, so there was naturally no concern that they would be bored.

"Level 5 Temple Knight Armand of the Lyle Family has
