A Visit

The Council Hall Lord Gould had mentioned contacted David through Butler Jason of Bama Main City the following day, arranging a time to visit him.

David had originally planned to receive the Council Hall representatives at Villa No. 35 in Bama Main City, but Butler Dickens persuaded him to change the meeting place to the castle on Gami Star.

The Council Hall was no ordinary administrative body. Such a formal visit required sufficient respect.

When a person of high status paid a formal visit, nobles received them in the main castle. It was both a sign of respect for the visitor and a display of the host family's heritage.

On the morning of August 13th, David approved the planetary Portal transfer request at the agreed time. He stood before the castle gates with fifteen Level 4 Sky Knights and Butler Dickens.

During his communications with the Council Hall, David had learned that the visitor would be Chairman Brewer himself, which was why such a grand reception had been arranged.

This was not merely because of Chairman Brewer's status, but also because he represented the Council Hall and the official authority of God's Great World.

A golden alchemy carriage approached from the distance. Four Level 4 Sky Knights flew overhead to guard it, while twelve Level 3 Earth Knights rode War Horses in two neat rows along either side.

The four Level 4 Sky Knights wore combat armor, but the twelve Level 3 Earth Knights wore ceremonial armor. Even the War Horses were clad in exquisite ceremonial barding; it was all for the Council Hall's display of prestige.
