"Duke Arthur, isn't this inappropriate?" McCracken finally could not hold back from speaking up.

"What? Do you object to me reclaiming my compensation?" David turned to look at McCracken.

"You have already taken Hart's Space Bracer. There is no need to further insult his corpse," McCracken urged.

"Ask your superiors about the value of the wealth in my spatial item. I can refrain from taking these two items, but the Interstellar Federation must deliver compensation of equal value to the embassy," David said gravely.
