Lord Amos looked over the report before him. Since midnight yesterday, he had been receiving reports of attacks without end. What he was reading now was the summary report for the entire night.

The Mather Family had vast holdings, but they were not limitless. In a single night, forty substantial properties had been destroyed.

More importantly, the personnel connected to those properties had been killed, meaning it would take a very long time even to restore the businesses.

Lord Amos did not need to speculate much to know who was responsible. The only person capable of doing this and holding a grudge against the Mather Family was Duke Arthur.

"Master, another eight properties have been destroyed!" The butler, normally so mindful of etiquette, ran over in an unseemly hurry and reported between light breaths.
