These five were the most esteemed people in God's Great World—the shepherds of the gods, the gods' agents in the mortal world. They were the archbishops of the five great temples.

This space was a spatial fragment jointly owned by the five great temples. Because the identities of the five archbishops were too special, they could not enter one another's temples, which was why this spatial fragment existed.

Using an entire spatial fragment solely for meetings between five archbishops was something only the five great temples that ruled God's Great World could afford.

This shared spatial fragment could be accessed directly by teleporting from within any of the five great temples, greatly facilitating the archbishops' meetings.

The spiritual avatars of the five archbishops stood barefoot atop the platform. There was nothing else here, yet it did nothing to diminish their noble bearing; instead, it enhanced their otherworldly air.
