"Still no reply?" Lord Amos asked as he watched the dejected butler walk in.

"Yes, Master. I asked around. Lord Felix of the Jenner Family also submitted a request to Lord Arthur, and the invitation to the Temple Knights' reception has already been delivered to the Jenner Family," the butler replied with a bow.

"Lord Arthur clearly has no intention of settling this peacefully. Does he really think the Mather Family is so easy to bully?" Lord Amos slapped the table, a vicious glint flashing through his eyes.

The butler stood silently to one side. He knew what Lord Amos had in reserve.
