David nodded. Of course, he would attach great importance to the Illusory Thought Method inheritance—far more importance than Bishop Evans had imagined.

For the sake of a spiritual cultivation method, he had considered seeking out followers of evil gods. Yet he discovered that the spiritual cultivation methods obtained from them could not be cultivated at all unless he became a follower of an evil god and surrendered his faith.

The preciousness of spiritual cultivation methods had exceeded David's expectations. Perhaps low-level spiritual cultivation methods could still be found, but higher-tier ones were rarely seen.

Now, a spiritual cultivation method that even the temples regarded as extremely important lay before him. How could he not be excited?

David carefully placed the alchemical plaque between his eyes. Its icy touch sharpened his focus.

Just as his consciousness approached the alchemical plaque, it suddenly burst apart. A streak of golden light passed through his head and entered his Soul Space.

David was startled at first, but without any sense of danger, he did not move to evade it.

He did not believe there would be danger hidden in a reward issued by a temple. Besides, his relationship with Bishop Evans had always been excellent, and there was no reason for the bishop to set him up.

The golden light flew into David's Soul Space and transformed into a golden pattern.

David froze for a moment. The Illusory Thought Method inheritance actually left an inheritance pattern directly within the Soul Space. No wonder it could not be passed down by other means.

He sensed the information emanating from the Illusory Thought Pattern. It was a complete system of spiritual cultivation, but everything had to be activated through the Illusory Thought Pattern. Without it, the entire system of spiritual cultivation would cease to exist.
