He moved with incredible speed. Rosago did not even have time to react before part of the flesh and blood on his body was absorbed.
However, Rosago quickly began to struggle. By then, Lynch had already raised his hand and emptied the revolver's cylinder.
"Don't worry, it shouldn't be a big problem. Still, that thing you threw really was useful. If not for you, I might not have managed to launch a successful sneak attack!"
Lynch hesitated. He had originally planned to use Creeping Hunger to absorb Rosago's corpse, but after thinking it over, he decided to leave it behind.
Rosago's corpse was still useful.
However, afraid that Rosago was not quite dead yet, he even used fire, nearly burning Rosago's body into charcoal.
If Rosago still was not dead after that, then all Lynch could say was that the man had an incredibly blessed life.
But Rosago was a villain, so naturally, he was dead.
Only then did Lynch turn to look at Klein.

When he heard Lynch speak, he finally snapped out of it and sighed.

And now he was claiming it cost three thousand pounds. Had he included the labor costs too?
