Klein relaxed a little when Lynch finally brought up the diaries. He could not remain in Sefirah Castle for long at the moment. If Lynch and the others kept chatting, he might have to end the gathering before he even got to read them.
Feeling a little grateful to Lynch, he gathered all the diary pages into his hands.
He looked at Roselle's diary first.
The first page described Zaratul's prophecy that Roselle's daughter would one day despise him and become an important figure, though Roselle did not believe it.
The second page was about the Sauron Family.
The third page described events from Roselle's early days as consul of the Intis Republic.
The fourth page mentioned that one of Roselle's friends believed himself to be very similar to an elder of the Sauron Family. They considered this a sign of talent.
On the fifth page, Roselle wrote about a mysterious organization. Klein did not know its name, which piqued his curiosity.
On the sixth page, Roselle declared that he would create Cards of Blasphemy for all twenty-two pathways, publicizing all the secrets that organization wanted to conceal. He also stated that sequence 0 was a true god.
Klein finished the sixth page with shock written all over his face. After taking a moment to recover, he turned to the diary Lynch had fabricated.
"April 5. I became a Faceless. This is an astonishing sequence. I used it to take on the faces of all sorts of celebrities I'd seen in my previous life, and even adjusted my height. In the end, though, I still used my own real face from my previous life.
