As the bait plopped into the water, Su Yu's focus snapped into place. He was no longer as casual as he'd been when fishing with Common Bait.
Still, sometimes fishing came down to luck.
Su Yu stared fixedly at the float on the water for nearly half an hour, but it didn't so much as twitch.
Just as Su Yu blinked his dry, scratchy eyes, the float finally plunged sharply beneath the surface.
At once, he felt a tug on the line.
But Su Yu showed no joy. He could tell that the force pulling on his line this time was nowhere near as strong as the Five-star Wooden Treasure Chest had been.
So he didn't bother easing it in carefully. As long as it wasn't a five-star chest, his Common Fishing Rod was sturdy enough to withstand a bit of rough handling.

He glanced at the chest on the ground, bent down, and picked up the small thing, carrying it over beside the Small Wooden Cabin.
When Su Yu silently willed the chest open, two seawater purification devices appeared before him. They were fairly large and looked incredibly high-tech.
"You two, go fetch some seawater in those buckets." Su Yu glanced at the Low-level Goblins working hard nearby and gave the order.
As soon as the two Goblins heard him, they dropped what they were doing, grabbed the buckets, and scampered off to collect seawater.
He had to admit, having two underlings to do the work was much better than doing everything himself. Su Yu could leave all the tedious chores to the Goblins.
For instance, he'd already handed over all the Fertile Soil, plant seeds, saplings, and other things he'd fished up to the two of them.
Before long, the two Goblins came hurrying back, each carrying a bucket of seawater.
Su Yu casually took a bucket from one of them and poured the seawater into the device's inlet.
Once the bucket was empty, he pressed the start button and set the bucket beneath the outlet.
To be honest, Su Yu was quite curious about this thing. It looked so high-tech, yet didn't even need electricity or anything.
As he watched, a thin stream of water began flowing from the device's outlet into the bucket.
"Keep an eye on the water in that bucket. Once it's full, take it over and water the saplings and seeds." Su Yu glanced at the trickle and instructed the two Goblins in a low voice.
With two Seawater Purification and Fresh Water Devices, Su Yu had more than enough water for his daily needs. Together, they could purify 200 L of fresh water a day.
After giving the Goblins their instructions, Su Yu headed toward the two Fishing Nets.
Half an hour had passed, after all. It was time to see whether any treasure chests had been caught.

As he watched the information pass before him, a question popped into Su Yu's mind.
But since he couldn't figure out what was going on, Su Yu couldn't be bothered to dwell on it. As long as his talent worked, that was all that mattered.
"Damn, this is heavy." Su Yu gripped the rope and pulled, letting out a startled cry.
It made sense. With ten treasure chests in one net, how could it not be heavy?
Fortunately, the chests caught in the Simple Fishing Net struggled less than same-rank chests did when he was fishing with a rod. Otherwise, Su Yu would have had to call the two Goblins over to help pull.
Like an old ox hauling a cart, Su Yu slowly dragged the net out of the water and onto the island.
He ignored the other Common Wooden Treasure Chests for now. His gaze was fixed on the chest containing the ordinary Spirit Potion.
When Su Yu opened it, two tubes of pale purple potion appeared in his hands.

Without thinking twice, he pulled out the stopper and downed it in one gulp.

That feeling lasted for about ten minutes before Su Yu finally came back to his senses.
If Su Yu had to rate the three potions, he'd absolutely give the Spirit Potion the highest score. The cool, light, almost blissful feeling it brought was just too good.
At this point, even walking made Su Yu feel as if he were floating.
When Su Yu reached the other Fishing Net and grabbed the rope, the information that appeared before him made a flash of surprise cross his eyes. The items in the chests this time seemed to be something he hadn't expected.
