The previous night, Su Yu had managed to buy only one 20-milliliter Strength Attribute Potion and one +1 Island Fragment. His trade listing had remained up until he went out to retrieve the Island Heart and became a Level 2 Island Lord, yet nothing had come of it.
So after taking the Marrow Cleansing Pill, Su Yu quickly removed his listings for Strength and Constitution Attribute Potions, lest he buy them only to have them go to waste.
In fact, when Su Yu canceled those buy orders, two or three Survivors who had the potions in hand nearly kicked themselves.
They had held off on trading because hardly anyone else was making deals. They'd wanted to wait and see if Su Yu would raise his offer. Instead of a higher price, they got a listing that had vanished. It was enough to make anyone miserable.

As for waiting to take the Marrow Cleansing Pill until he had raised his attributes to five points with potions, Su Yu didn't think there was any need.
After all, his Insight Talent had already told him that the pill's effects depended on the user's constitution. That meant the stronger the user's constitution, the more its effects would be diminished. He might as well take it sooner.

He casually pulled out the stopper and downed it in one gulp. As far as Su Yu was concerned, one bottle of Spirit Potion perked him up, and two cleared his head. The rush was as good as drinking a bottle of ice-cold cola on a scorching summer day.
"That didn't hit as hard as last time. Looks like my Spirit attribute's gone up, and so has my tolerance." Three minutes later, Su Yu came back down from the high and muttered to himself.
"Whatever. Let's see if those guys have put anything new up on the Trading Channel." After muttering that, Su Yu didn't feel like fishing just then, so he opened the Trading Channel instead.
