The matter of the Eye of the Elf was only a minor interlude.
By now, Silvermoon Forest had dispatched Eyes of the Elf to great cities across most human kingdoms.
The number of elves stationed in each city ranged from several dozen to several hundred.
That was not a large number.
Even across a hundred great cities, the Eyes of the Elf would only amount to several thousand or tens of thousands of members.
After generations of reproduction, the Elf Race's population was measured in units ending with "hundred million."
Although elves still could not compare with humans, they were far better off than before.
Most importantly, elves were a long-lived race.
Their concept of time was completely different from humanity's "rise and fall over a hundred years."
They were far more capable of accepting long waits.
Aila and Heya were still "young people" who had only recently come of age among their people.
In truth, both of them were twice Zong Shen's age.
Back on Earth, Zong would have had to call them Auntie.
It seemed rather comical when compared that way, but it was an accurate reflection of how different races defined age groups.
In another fifty or sixty years or so, these two "aunties" would return to Silvermoon Forest to find partners and bear children.
Besides that, the Eye of the Elf had also copied the Goblin Airship's continent-circling route model.
They had purchased several thousand prototype airships and, with elven technology, modified them into so-called elven airships.
Their central core was a special Tree Spirit known as the Spiritwind Tree.
It enabled low-magic-energy flight, greatly reducing energy consumption.
However, their speed was also reduced by roughly 20%.
By operating on regular routes, the elven airships could connect various regions.
These airships did not need to return
