Icardi emerged at Sampdoria, where his two goals in a 2–1 comeback against Juventus on 6 January 2013 made him a high-profile prospect and drew Inter Milan’s attention. The performance began his reputation as a “Juventus Killer.” 625

Inter signed the 21-year-old Argentine striker from Sampdoria for €13 million during the 2013 summer window.
