Beat the Young, Here Come the Old

Nagato rummaged through Naruto's soul as if he were tearing apart a cabinet right in front of the Nine Tails, yet in the end, he failed to find the Chakra he was looking for.

The Chakra left behind by Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki was linked to the Four Symbols Seal; without disturbing the seal, it was impossible to locate these two types of Chakra.
