Night had fallen, and there were no pedestrians around the Uchiha Clan compound, located on the outskirts of Konoha.
However, when Itachi arrived at the Konoha Military Police Force, he couldn't find his father, Uchiha Fugaku.
After asking his father's aide, Uchiha Soichiro, Itachi learned that Danzo had already been there before he arrived. Shisui had accompanied him.
"I'm not sure what Danzo and the clan head discussed in the office. They left together not long afterward. I don't know where they went," another Uchiha clan member beside Soichiro told Itachi.
Relations between the Uchiha Clan and Danzo were poor, so nearly all Uchiha members called him by name in private, without using honorifics.
After hearing this, Itachi decided to gather the clan members first, then look for his father.
Since Danzo had come here in person, there was a good chance the conspiracy against the clan had already been set in motion. The clan had to be put on guard.
Itachi sent the other members of the Military Police Force away, then spoke to Soichiro alone. "Danzo may be about to move against the clan, and his goal may well be to wipe out the entire Uchiha Clan."
