A thousand years later...
Water Elemental Plane, Cangming Sea, Lake City, Battle Arena.
"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh~~"
Azure water currents seemed to come alive, sweeping across the entire Battle Arena from multiple angles. A silver-haired figure on the stage dodged continuously, until finally, he had to grit his teeth and shout:
"I concede!"
The water rapidly receded, transforming into the figure of a blue-haired youth who landed on the ground with a smile.
"Great, Big Brother has already reached ninety consecutive wins."
In the spectator stands, Black Tortoise Amanda pulled a piece of specially prepared beast thigh meat from his robes, took a massive bite, and mumbled while chewing.
"Don't just talk about Big Brother, you need to hurry up and cultivate, kid. You're the slowest of the bunch."
White Tiger Bolei glared at Amanda, feeling speechless regarding his younger brother's playful nature.
Their training on the Qingya Continent had ended quickly; after all, given the strength of the four of them, even without using their innate divine abilities, almost no gods on the Qingya Plane were their match.
Thus, after only a hundred years, the four of them arrived at the Water Elemental Plane and began their new training in the Cangming Sea.
Meanwhile, inside the City Lord's Mansion, two figures sat facing each other, while a blue-haired woman and a brown-haired middle-aged man stood respectfully behind them.
If anyone in the city saw the brown-haired man, they would immediately recognize him as the Lord of Lake City, a seven-star Water Starer level powerhouse, Bertram.
Generally speaking, in any city, the City Lord holds the highest status. However, in the City Lord's Mansion today, Bertram stood in the back, not daring to even breathe loudly.
The blue-haired woman in front of Bertram was none other than the Sovereign's Legion Commander and one of the regional lords of the Water Elemental Plane, Dili.
Several hundred years ago, Dili, as a Sovereign's Legion Commander, had suddenly descended upon Lake City, scaring Bertram into rushing out to welcome her, fearing that one of his subordinates had accidentally offended her.
Upon learning that she was merely arranging for a few mid-level gods to train, Bertram immediately patted his chest to guarantee there would be no issues. He then gathered information on all the mid-level gods in the city and specifically arranged matches for them at the Battle Arena.
Although Dili never mentioned their identities, Bertram could guess that they were likely family descendants whom Dili valued highly, so he dared not show the slightest negligence.
However, today, Bertram was shocked, because two Sovereigns had descended upon Lake City, and only then did Bertram realize that the four people, including Baruch, had actually been sent by the Sovereigns.
"Baruch has already fused three profound mysteries, much faster than his three younger brothers. Arrange a high-level god who has refined a godhead for him."
Hope set down his teacup, pondered for a moment, and spoke.
"Yes, Sovereign!"
Dili replied respectfully and immediately led Bertram out of the room.
Soon, on the Battle Arena, a red-haired middle-aged man slowly stepped onto the stage.
"Huh? A high-level god? What's going on? Isn't this the mid-level god Battle Arena?"
In the spectator stands, someone immediately shouted in surprise.
"That's right, what is this? A high-level god? How is this a fight? Did they make a mistake?"
Although the mid-level god Battle Arena was not as lively as the high-level one, the number of people in the stands was not small, and the scene immediately attracted many eyes.
On the stage, the red-haired high-level god Layton also felt a bit embarrassed; after all, as a high-level god, bullying a mid-level god was somewhat shameful.
However, this was an order from the City Lord, so Layton had no choice but to accept. His right hand moved, and a crimson long whip appeared, its surface covered in golden spikes emitting a scorching aura.
"A high-level god?"
Opposite him, Baruch felt no fear or anxiety; instead, he felt his blood begin to boil.
"Come on!"
A cyan halo appeared on Baruch's skin, and then a massive amount of blue water emerged from his side, turning into a stream of light as he charged toward Layton.
"He's actually attacking me first?"
Layton was stunned for a moment, then felt a surge of anger in his chest, as if he had been insulted. He swung his crimson whip, and spikes flew off it, transforming into scorching light blades that surrounded Baruch.
"Well fought!"
Baruch had no intention of dodging. Cyan dragon scales appeared on his hands, and a powerful blood aura was released.
"Boom~~"
After a massive collision, Layton felt a terrifying force acting within his body, and he was sent flying, unable to control his descent.
"This, what kind of physical body is this? And his dragon scales? Are they from the Azure Dragon clan of the Four Divine Beasts Clan? How could they be here?"
Layton felt a storm raging in his mind. He quickly transformed into a crimson flame and ascended into the sky, putting distance between himself and Baruch, and began to swing his whip continuously.
However, Layton was shocked to discover that his speed was actually slower than the mid-level god before him, making it impossible to avoid close-quarters combat.
After a while...
"I concede!"
There were over a dozen wounds on Layton's body, blood flowing from them, and in the end, he had no choice but to call out his concession.
Baruch did not finish him off. After landing, he nodded slightly, feeling nothing special about defeating a high-level god head-on.
"Sovereign, the innate talents of Baruch and the others—if they continue to train in the divine planes, I fear there is a risk of exposure."
Inside the City Lord's Mansion, Palhouse, who was sitting opposite Hope, pondered for a moment before frowning to offer a reminder.
"You are right; perhaps we should choose a more suitable location."
Hope nodded slightly; what Palhouse mentioned was exactly the issue he had been considering.
The four members of Baruch were his trump card, and for the time being, he did not want other Sovereigns to know about them. After all, the storm that the new Four Divine Beasts could stir up was far too great.
However, the four of them needed to gain experience, and the Material Plane was too small for them. Yet, coming to an Elemental Plane carried the risk of being discovered by other Sovereigns. It might be fine for a short time, but the risk would be immense if they stayed for long.
Although on the surface they only appeared to be people with the bloodline of the Four Divine Beasts Clan, Sovereigns could not immediately discern their true identities at a glance. Nevertheless, their bloodlines and innate divine abilities were far too unique.
The innate divine abilities of the Four Divine Beasts differed from those of the Four Divine Beasts Clan. After all, the Four Divine Beasts were true super divine beasts; even without using their combined innate divine ability, their individual innate divine abilities were distinct from those of the Four Divine Beasts Clan.
Even for someone like Gaislesen, his innate divine ability was worlds apart from that of Reding. This was the suppression brought about by bloodline, something that could not be changed.
If the four members of Baruch were to come into close contact with a Sovereign, there was a high probability they would be discovered as individuals with the bloodline of the Four Divine Beasts Clan, and very powerful ones at that. Once they used their innate divine abilities, the Sovereigns would immediately realize that the four of them were actually the true Four Divine Beasts.
Even if they stayed in the Water Elemental Plane, it was inevitable that other Sovereigns would occasionally come to travel. Before the next tenth Plane War, it was best not to let the four of them appear in the sight of any other Sovereigns.
"Palhouse, collect Saint-level and God-level experts in the Water Elemental Plane. I will build a new plane next to the Qingya Plane for them to use for their training!"
Hope pondered for a moment before speaking to Palhouse.
"A new divine plane?"
Palhouse was stunned for a moment, then nodded. This was a massive undertaking, but it was indeed a good solution.
For a Sovereign, building a divine plane was not a difficult task. With the status of a Sovereign, it was also easy to gather some gods and send them inside. Constructing a small divine plane was just right for the new Four Divine Beasts to gain experience.
"Let's call this plane the Graveyard of Gods!"
Hope tapped the table lightly and began to contemplate the construction of the Graveyard of Gods in his mind.
