Establishment of the Graveyard of Gods, the Boiling of the Divine Plane

Outside the Qingya Plane, Spatial Turbulence flowed incessantly.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

Around Hope, Sovereign Power surged continuously, forming a blue ocean that transformed into a beacon of light within the Spatial Turbulence.

"Ocean, condense!"

Hope's eyes narrowed. A stream of white light suddenly erupted from his mouth, and a vast amount of Sovereign Power dispersed, condensing into a new Divine Plane. Under Hope's control, a massive tower appeared within, piercing through the firmament with no end in sight.

The eighteen-story tower had each level separated by a barrier of energy, with only a single passageway between them. The higher one climbed, the denser the Heaven and Earth elements became.

"Sovereign, Mercury Castle has already transported one hundred million Saint-level and God-level beings to the Qingya Plane."

Palhouse arrived beside Hope and spoke in a low voice.

"Select some suitable ones to scatter as guardians within the Graveyard of Gods, and distribute the rest throughout the interior of the Divine Plane."

As Hope spoke, he controlled the Sovereign Power to construct a dozen castles around the Graveyard of Gods to maintain order throughout the plane.

With this, the framework of the Graveyard of Gods was basically complete. The first four levels contained a large number of Godheads and artifacts. The internal guardians included Blade Demons born from the Abyss Plane, Volcano Giants from the Fire Elemental Plane, and the Water Dragon clan from the Water Elemental Plane; only Saint-level beings could enter.

The fifth through eighth levels were training grounds for Lowgods, containing numerous Midgod Godheads and artifacts. The guardians were mostly Divine Beasts, including some Heaven-Swallowing Beasts and Ba Serpents.

The ninth through twelfth levels were for Midgods to train, hiding Highgod Godheads and artifacts. Many of the guardians were powerhouses from tribes within the Divine Planes, and the final few guardians possessed the strength of Highgods.

The final thirteenth to eighteenth levels were the Highgod zones. Currently, the thirteenth and fourteenth levels had guardians arranged by Mercury Castle, and more powerful guardians would be added later.

Ten thousand years later, a piece of news suddenly spread throughout Mercury Castle in the Water Elemental Plane: within the Material Plane, the Qingya Plane, there was a Graveyard of Gods built by a Sovereign.

Inside the Graveyard of Gods, there were all kinds of guardians, and after defeating them, one could obtain rewards bestowed by the Sovereign.

In the upper levels of the Graveyard of Gods, there were Sovereign Artifacts left behind after the fall of the Four Divine Beasts Sovereign, which could be given as rewards to challengers.

Most terrifying of all, it was rumored that on the eighteenth level of the Graveyard of Gods, there was a Sovereign Godhead left behind by the Four Divine Beasts Sovereign. Defeating the eighteenth-level guardian might result in the Sovereign bestowing the Sovereign Godhead.

Once the news broke, it instantly ignited the entire Divine Plane. It wasn't just the Water Elemental Plane; the four Higher Planes and the seven Divine Planes all had their gazes drawn to it.

The allure of the three words "Sovereign Artifact" was too great; to any God-level being, they were priceless treasures.

There were usually only three ways to obtain a Sovereign Artifact: first, by becoming a Sovereign Envoy and being gifted one by a Sovereign; second, by being a child of a Sovereign, who might possess one; and third, by obtaining ten Commander Badges on the Plane Battlefield. Aside from these, there were only a few ownerless Sovereign Artifacts left behind after a Sovereign fell.

Ordinary Seven-Star Fiends of the Divine Planes could not resist the temptation of a Sovereign Artifact. As for Sovereign Envoys and children of Sovereigns, they had participated in Plane Wars and understood the Sovereign Covenant to some extent, so they did not believe that one could truly obtain a Sovereign Artifact from the Graveyard of Gods.

However, the temptation of a Sovereign Godhead was too immense. Even knowing the chances were slim to none, and knowing that the Sovereign of Water would likely never give away a Sovereign Godhead, people still wanted to try, holding onto a "what if" hope. After all, it was a Sovereign Godhead.

This time, the Graveyard of Gods instantly flushed out all the powerhouses of the Divine Planes. For a time, God-level powerhouses flocked to the Qingya Plane in an endless stream. The Plane Overseer felt dazzled and eventually became numb to it all.

On the other side, in the Radiant Divine Realm on Aowei Island, a magnificent white palace stood tall.

"Oh? A Graveyard of Gods? Is the news accurate?"

A golden-haired figure sitting high on a throne opened his eyes, his gaze sharp as he looked at the figure bowing below.

"Father, this came from Mercury Castle in the Water Elemental Plane. The news is absolutely true."

The white-robed man bowing below slowly raised his head. There was a scarlet mole on his forehead, and he exuded a somewhat imposing pressure.

Only one person in the family could appear within the highest palace of the Augusta family: the patriarch, Hankin Augusta.

The one sitting high on the throne listening to Hankin's report was none other than the Chief Sovereign of Light, Augusta.

"What is that fellow Hope up to?"

Augusta's brows furrowed slightly. He raised a hand to press his brow, his long golden hair fluttering.

According to the Sovereign Covenant, Sovereigns could only bestow Sovereign Artifacts to Sovereign Envoys, their own children, or those who had obtained ten Commander Badges in the Plane Wars. Although Hope was using the ownerless Sovereign Artifacts left behind by the Four Divine Beasts, it was still considered a loophole.

Of course, it was highly likely just a rumor used to attract people, and he wouldn't actually give away Sovereign Artifacts or a Sovereign Godhead. On one hand, strictly speaking, while giving away Sovereign Artifacts this way didn't violate the Sovereign Covenant, it would be hard to convince other Sovereigns. On the other hand, no one believed Hope would actually give away a Sovereign Godhead.

Augusta just couldn't figure out the point of Hope doing this. Attracting a large number of powerhouses into the Qingya Plane, or even the Graveyard of Gods—it couldn't really be to select suitable people to bestow a Sovereign Godhead upon, could it?

"Hankin, arrange for a few people from the family to go and take a look. Observe the situation carefully."

After pondering for a moment, Augusta decided to let them go and test it out.

"As you command, Father!"

Hankin bowed his head in agreement, then couldn't help but sigh inwardly.

As the family patriarch and a peak Asura, Hankin's strength was top-tier in the Divine Planes. He was naturally tempted by the news of a Sovereign Godhead, but he did not have clones of Earth, Wind, Water, or Fire, so going would be meaningless.

In the Thunder Divine Plane, on the Xinya Continent, in the Taluoulei Region.

"Father, I want to go to the Qingya Plane and see."

Yage Huerlei stood below, his tone filled with excitement; he couldn't wait to rush out immediately.

As the son of the Sovereign of Thunder, Huerlei, Yage had three divine clones: one Thunder, one Water, and one Life. Theoretically, he could use the Azure Dragon Sovereign's Water Sovereign Godhead.

When the news of the Graveyard of Gods arrived, Yage was instantly tempted. Even though he knew the Sovereign of Water wouldn't easily give such an important item as a Sovereign Godhead to an outsider, he still wanted to try. What if? After all, it was a Sovereign Godhead.

On the throne, the purple-haired Huerlei remained silent for a while before finally speaking:

"Yage, based on my understanding of the Sovereign of Water, this matter is likely not that simple."

Huerlei had known Hope for many years. While he couldn't say he understood Hope perfectly, he didn't believe Hope would use a Sovereign Godhead as a reward.

"Father, I understand, but I am willing to give it a try."

Yage nodded firmly, indicating that he was fully prepared.

Huerlei sighed, finally nodding as he spoke:

"Very well, there is no harm in you taking a look. You are my son, so I imagine there will be no danger, and no one would dare to truly harm you."

Overjoyed at these words, Yage bid farewell to Huerlei and quickly retreated from the great hall, flying toward the direction of the teleportation array.

After Yage left, Huerlei took a crystal out from his spatial ring, shook his head with a dejected expression, and then put it away again.

If any other Sovereign were here, they would surely be shocked, for the crystal Huerlei had just taken out was actually a Life Element Godhead.

Back during the Great War of Heaven and Earth, a low-level Life Godhead had gone missing and its whereabouts remained unknown to this day; some speculated it had been hidden by a certain Sovereign, while others felt it was in some Material Plane.

Yet, no one had ever imagined that the Thunder Sovereign Huerlei had actually hidden a Life Godhead, not even allowing his son Yage to refine it despite the fact that Yage possessed a Life Element divine clone.
