Ling Yuan conquered the Heavenly Tomb, reached the Emperor Realm Soul, and became embroiled in a war with the Gu, Yan, and Lei Clans after Gu Xun’er’s death. The clans prepared to fight to the death as Ling Yuan returned to the battlefield stronger and backed by nearly twenty Dou Sheng Puppets.

• Ling Yuan reunited his six clones, reached Late-Stage Five-Star Dou Sheng, and joined Zi Yan and Medusa in defeating Xiao Xuan and refining his energy core.
• Ling Yuan killed the Soul of the Heavenly Tomb and, with Yao Ling’s help, broke through to the Emperor Realm Soul before the realm expelled its participants.
• Ling Yuan’s rapid growth sparked accusations over the missing Energy Bodies, but he admitted refining them and left the Heavenly Tomb after promising the Gu Clan compensation.
• Ling Yuan killed Xiao Yan and framed the Yan Clan, then the Soul Clan abducted and killed Gu Xun’er near the Ling Realm, prompting Gu Yuan to blame Ling Yuan.

• Ling Yuan and Zhu Kun helped the ancient clans defeat the Gu, Yan, and Lei Clans, but Hun Tiandi escaped their pursuit and revealed his Soul Clan ambush plan.

Ling Yuan became a Dou Di, defeated Hun Tiandi, and helped Zhu Kun and others advance before Douqi Continent began rejecting his growing power. He left for the Great Thousand World with Zi Yan and Zhu Kun, where rival clans sought to recruit them and then offered compensation after Ling Yuan claimed a connection to the Dragon Clan.

• Ling Yuan killed Mo Ya, entered the Holy Heaven Palace, and received the White-Robed Dou Di’s token, inheritance, and promise of help in the Great Thousand World.
• Ling Yuan reached the middle stage of Nine-Star Dou Sheng, defeated Hun Tiandi, subdued the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame, and later killed Hun Tiandi inside Tou She Ancient God's Cave Mansion.
