Background / History

Sikong Zhen was born alongside Ye Han's strongest ninth soul ring and became one of Chang'an City's foremost combatants. He serves as the Great Jailer and was initially described as Chang'an's third-in-command. His Five Thunder Tremor Drum is the only God-level martial soul among Ye Han's nine companion heroes at that time. 14

At Ye Han's order, Sikong Zhen entered Sunset Forest to secure the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well. He used a spatial container prepared by Ye Han to relocate the spring waters and recovered the buried remains of the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings, despite the immortal herbs having already been removed. 14 25 28

His acquisition of the well's resources led to the evolution of his martial soul. The resulting Yin-Yang Five Thunder Tremor Drum was ranked second on the Martial Soul Quality Ranking and became a Super God Level Law System tool martial soul. 90

Several years before this evolution, Sikong Zhen disagreed with Ye Han over foreign policy. While Chang'an supported Ye Han, the Storm Dragon King alone stood firmly with Sikong Zhen; he fell in love with her from that moment. 91

Personality

Sikong Zhen is intensely driven by strength, authority, and the protection of Chang'an. He treats threats with open contempt, dismissing enemies who challenge him as insignificant before his thunder. 28

He is also ambitious and politically forceful. His belief that Chang'an should unify the world eventually puts him directly at odds with Ye Han, who rejects world domination. Sikong Zhen nevertheless continues planning toward unification without Ye Han's approval. 246 264
