Chen Ming clapped his hands, washed them with water elemental power, then adjusted the brim of his hat and looked around.

Seeing no one nearby, he immediately pretended nothing had happened and hurried off. As he left, Chen Ming grumbled.

"A bunch of little brats who haven't even grown their first hairs yet. So much trouble. Instead of focusing on their studies, all they know is this sort of nonsense."

Chen Ming recalled the jealous look the other boy had given him and how attentive he'd been toward Dong Qianqiu. It was easy to see what had started all this.

Wasn't that why they said beautiful women were trouble? In the precocious Douluo Universe, he knew kids matured early, but how could they be this precocious?

After awakening their Martial Souls, shouldn't they focus entirely on cultivation? All they cared about was romance. They clearly had no future.

Just as he'd left the Laji Sect and reached the academy's sports field, he suddenly turned to look beside him, as if sensing something.

He saw a silver-haired beauty. A male teacher beside her swept back his bangs in what he probably thought was a cool gesture, then invited her:

"Teacher Nana, since this is your first time teaching at the academy, you're probably not familiar with the place. I can show you around campus."

"No need. My daughter is waiting over there."

Nana replied coldly. She happened to notice Chen Ming watching the scene, then immediately changed direction and walked straight over.

"Daughter?!"

The teacher stiffened. He turned to look, and the sight of a petite, silver-haired girl left him frozen.

"Why is she coming over?!"

Chen Ming turned and ran. He'd only been watching the show and enjoying the gossip—how had it ended up involving him?

There was no helping it. He really couldn't change his gossip-loving nature. Chen Ming quickened his pace, and Nana did the same.

Chen Ming broke into a jog, and Nana jogged too. He downed a Speed V Potion and sprinted, turning into a streak of silver light as he charged toward the academy gates. Nana teleported and grabbed him.

"Don't go."

"What do you want? I don't know you. I need to go home and eat."

Silver light swirled around Chen Ming. He was just about to use space elemental power to escape when Nana pressed him back down.

"I feel close to you, as if you're another version of me. Are we connected somehow?"

Nana studied him, feeling an inexplicable closeness. Chen Ming switched Martial Souls. The aura of the Silver Dragon King vanished, replaced by a faint aura of Destruction.

"You've got it wrong. This is the first time we've met."

"We've met three times."

Nana corrected him at once. They stared each other down until he finally gave in.

"Put me down. We really have no connection at all, not even the slightest one."

Chen Ming didn't want to get tangled up with her. He just wanted to slip away as soon as possible. Seeing this, Nana had no choice but to put him down. Then she asked where he lived.

"Where do you live? I'll take you home."

"I can get there myself, and I live on campus."

Chen Ming turned and left. Nana followed right behind him, forcing him to circle the boys' dormitory.

"Come on, sis. Can you leave me alone? I can't get back to the dorm with you following me! I won't have anywhere to sleep tonight!"

Unable to hold it in any longer, Chen Ming spoke as he watched Nana continue following him. She replied unconcernedly:

"Isn't it normal for a teacher to make sure a student gets back to the dorm? Besides, if you don't have anywhere to sleep, you can sleep with me. My teachers' dorm is pretty spacious. When you get tired of playing, you can just go to bed."

Chen Ming's eyes widened in shock. What was with this Silver Dragon Fish acting like Jie? If she put on a pair of glasses, he'd really have to call the police.

"No... I'll figure something out myself."

He headed straight off campus, intending to find a hotel and make do. It was already evening, and there was hardly anyone left in the teaching buildings. He couldn't find an opportunity to change back, either.

Nana kept following him. Chen Ming soon reached a hotel, booked a single room, and lay down on the bed. He spread his spiritual power everywhere, but couldn't detect her at all.

"Did she leave?"

Chen Ming sat up on the bed, unsure whether she was gone. But the very next second, the door suddenly opened, and Nana walked in. His expression changed instantly, and he pointed at her.

"How did you get in?!"

"I said I was your older sister and asked for another key card."

She simply explained how she'd done it. Chen Ming immediately covered his face. He had no way to deal with her.

"What do you want? We really have nothing to do with each other."

Chen Ming lay back on the bed in resignation. He'd expected there might be a misunderstanding if he ever ran into Gu Yuena, but he hadn't expected her to cling to him like chewing gum.

"I know. I just want to look at you. I won't do anything else."

As she spoke, Nana walked over and sat down on the bed. She reached out and placed a hand on Chen Ming's chest. He sprang up at once, covering his chest as he scolded her.

"You're a pervert! You're a lecher!"

"I... I'm not..."

Nana's face flushed at being called a lecher, and she realized how inappropriate her action had been.

She'd only wanted to feel the Genesis power they shared, nothing more.

Chen Ming wrapped himself in the blanket and stared at her as if she were trash, a pervert, or a scumbag.

"I... I didn't mean to... I'm sorry."

She knew she was at fault and apologized immediately. If anyone else had done that to her, she would have slapped them into a cloud of blood.

Nana lowered her head, looking embarrassed. Being mistaken for a pervert really wasn't pleasant.

"Stop following me. I'm going to rest now. Get out!"

Chen Ming kicked Nana out of the room. Then, while she wasn't paying attention, he checked out on his phone, used space elemental power to send the key card back to the front desk, and climbed out the window.

The Ender Pearl fell like a purple meteor into a grove near Tiantou Technology Academy.

A flash of purple light later, Chen Ming landed on a tree branch. His long silver hair turned into short black hair.

"Finally lost her. Looks like I'll have to switch forms less often from now on."

Chen Ming muttered to himself, then hopped across the trees and returned to the boys' dormitory.

"Holy crap, Old Chen, why are you back so late?"

"Yeah, and you climbed in through the window. Why are you sneaking around? Got something on your conscience?"

"Back from a date?"

The three roommates saw Chen Ming jump in from the balcony and immediately started asking questions. Chen Ming took off his hat and replied with an exasperated look:

"None of your business. I taught some idiot a lesson today. Take a look."

Chen Ming pulled out his phone and showed them the photo of Mei Qian in the trash can, lifting a leg, making a V sign, and sticking out his tongue.

"Holy crap! My eyes!"

"Old Chen, I didn't know you were into that. Too bad we're both tops."

Feng Rulang gave Chen Ming a knowing look and smiled lecherously. His smile sent a chill down Chen Ming's spine, and he immediately cursed:

"Get lost! Think I won't beat you up?"
