"Fang Mo Sixteen?"
Joseph was understandably surprised upon hearing this. "...So Mr. Steve is your ancestor?"
"You could understand it that way."
After going through so many instances, Fang Mo could lie without even blinking. "I am the sixteenth-generation heir of the Steve magical family, as well as its current head."
"Even so..."
Joseph could not help but point out, "Passing down to the sixteenth generation in barely a hundred years sounds strange no matter how you look at it, doesn't it?"
"Are you a magician? Do you understand magic? Do you know the price of wielding this power?"
Fang Mo cut him off righteously. "It's been nearly a hundred years. Our Steve family has flourished, so we barely managed to pass through sixteen generations... What's wrong with that?"
"Of course there's something wrong with that."
Joseph immediately retorted, "That means your family would need to produce a new heir every six years and have them inherit the position of family head... Setting aside the ethical problems, a six-year-old child simply doesn't have reproductive ability, right?"
"Have you heard the motto of the Steve family?"
However, Fang Mo suddenly asked this without warning.
"A family motto?"
Joseph paused slightly. The Joestar family really did not seem to have any sort of motto.
Though he had heard that during George I's era, his family had indeed been local nobility, and Grandfather Jonathan had maintained the demeanor of a gentleman throughout his life, Joseph himself had no such awareness whatsoever. He had even done some utterly ridiculous things... Thinking of this, he shook his head. "Never heard it."
"The motto of our Steve family is..."
Fang Mo spread his hands. "Never try to question magic."
"Huh?"
"You can never explain the mysteries of magic to a bunch of Muggles."
