The Master-Servant Contract

Another bolt of lightning struck Cloud Leopard.

"Roar!"

Cloud Leopard glared at Tang Yu with bloodshot eyes and roared, as if saying, "I'm warning you, I've got a temper! Electrocute me again, and I'll fight you to the death!"

Tang Yu smiled harmlessly. "Will you be my mount?"

Cloud Leopard roared furiously.

Tang Yu curled his lip. "Then let's keep going."

As he spoke, the Giant Ape in the sky roared again. Cloud Leopard looked up at it in despair. Damn it, again? How does a Spirit Ancestor have so much Soul Power?!

In truth, Tang Yu was using very little Soul Power. The lightning was drawn from the natural forces around them and controlled by Thor's Hammer; Tang Yu only needed a small amount of Soul Power to summon it. He could keep striking Cloud Leopard with lightning all day.

Cloud Leopard was struck by lightning for the third time, then the fourth, the fifth... all the way to the ninety-ninth.

After the ninety-ninth strike, Cloud Leopard charged at Tang Yu at the fastest speed of its life. Tang Yu didn't care in the slightest. If it died, he could just bring it back to life. The next second, Cloud Leopard was right in front of him—but then it backed away, dropped to its knees, and burst into tears.

Tang Yu: "..."

What was going on? Tang Yu asked, "You're willing to be my mount now?"

Cloud Leopard nodded frantically. Damn it, how could it not agree? It had been struck ninety-nine times, and even biting him wouldn't kill the guy... Was there any way to have fun anymore?

Tang Yu patted Cloud Leopard's head in satisfaction. "See? You should've acknowledged me as your master from the start. You've wasted so much of my time."

As he spoke, Tang Yu asked the system in his mind, "System, is there a way to restrain Cloud Leopard? It'd be bad if I took him outside and he attacked someone."

The system paused, then replied, "There is. You can sign a master-servant contract with Cloud Leopard. I'll tell you how to do it now."

After the system finished speaking, some new knowledge appeared in Tang Yu's mind. He smiled. With this, he could relax.

Tang Yu bit his finger, then quickly drew a symbol in the air with his blood. He looked at Cloud Leopard. "Put your palm on this symbol."

Cloud Leopard had no idea what he was supposed to do, but for now, it decided to follow Tang Yu's instructions. It raised its paw and placed it on the contract. The contract immediately entered its body through its palm, and a blood-red flame mark appeared on its forehead.

Tang Yu smiled. "You should know what the master-servant contract does, right? If you even think about disobeying me, you'll suffer unbearable pain at best, and explode on the spot at worst."

Cloud Leopard gaped in disbelief. It had planned to play along and then escape! How had it actually ended up becoming a mount?!

Tang Yu climbed onto Cloud Leopard's back and said, "From now on, you'll take my surname. Your name is Tang Yun."

Tears streamed from Cloud Leopard's eyes. Tang Yun, seriously? Tang Yu slapped Cloud Leopard's rump. "Let's go to the outskirts of the Star Dou Forest."

Cloud Leopard wiped away its tears and ran toward the outskirts. It had no choice—it would explode otherwise.

Cloud Leopard was incredibly fast. In less than a minute, it had reached the outskirts of the Star Dou Forest. Tang Yu asked the system, "System, is there a way to hide this guy? Taking a ninety-thousand-year-old Soul Beast outside would attract too much attention."

"Host, you can put him in Infinite Space. Infinite Space can store living creatures," the system replied.
