Background / History
Mia is Andre III's youngest child and only daughter; her seven older siblings are all male. As the Human Empire's sole princess, she was raised under the affection of her father and brothers and was widely favored by both nobles and commoners. Although she and Ron were not especially close when he lived in the palace, she was among the few who treated him normally. 110 111
She visited Ron in Chaos City while attending the harvest ritual, accompanied by her etiquette teacher, Irene. During the visit, she became enamored with barbecue, hotpot, and Elemental Cards, while her playful behavior contrasted sharply with her formal public image. 110 111 116
After proposing that Lyle establish a hotpot and barbecue restaurant in the Imperial Capital, Mia took charge of its local preparations. She investigated potential sites, considered the capital's demographics and consumer groups, selected Peace Square on Central Street, and helped establish a restaurant serving different social classes on separate floors. 117 142 148
Mia also became a key promoter for Elemental Cards among aristocratic circles. By bringing the cards to dinners, tea parties, and banquets—and personally playing with noble guests—she created demand before large-scale distribution began. 141 148 154 177
She later returned from the Northern Frontier after assisting with the hotpot restaurant expansion, gained Silver Rank in Magic Duel, and entered the Magic Cup. Though she struggled to reach Gold Rank, she advanced from the preliminaries and became both a contestant and commentator. 294 300 309 328
Near the end of the story, Andre III summoned Mia and Soven into an underground palace as part of Emperor Andre's vessel-transfer ritual. Unable to contact Ron through her dolls, Mia attempted to leave but was forcibly restrained. Ron and the Goddess of Harvest ultimately rescued her. 361 The novel's final thoughts state that Mia ascended the throne, resolving the Imperial Capital's political conflict. 362
Appearance
Mia is a pale-golden-haired young princess whose public presentation is consistently graceful and composed. Her appearance and bearing make her one of the Empire's most recognizable noblewomen. 110 154 315
- Long, light-golden hair; she is also described wearing it piled high for formal occasions. 110 147
- Curious, wide eyes. 110 111
- Wore an off-white ruffled dress during her first visit to Ron's Flower Shop. 110
- Maintains poised posture, a restrained smile, and proper greetings when appearing before crowds. 315
Personality
Mia is cheerful, curious, spoiled, and mischievous in private. She eagerly samples unfamiliar food, becomes intensely competitive during card games, teases Irene and Nora, and often acts spoiled around Ron. 111 115 116 296
Her sheltered upbringing also leaves her frustrated with palace life and marriage-alliance pressure. She prefers active pursuits such as hunting, horse racing, polo, cooking, and business projects over etiquette lessons and formal tea parties. 112 116
In public, Mia is markedly more polished. She is calm, generous, and confident before noble audiences, and her royal education and participation in annual disaster relief have given her an excellent reputation among the populace. 154 315
Mia becomes increasingly initiative-driven over the course of the story. She investigates markets, manages restaurant expansion, promotes Elemental Cards, competes seriously in Magic Duel, and expresses the belief that the Empire needs rulers who work for its development rather than merely indulging themselves. 148 161 294 302
