As Qian Daoliu and Qian Renyu were about to leave the Extreme North, Qian Daoliu asked him, "Yu'er, do you know what was going on with those Titan Snow Demons?"
"They probably wanted revenge for their companions," Qian Renyu replied.
"Yes, and no," Qian Daoliu said with a smile.
Seeing Qian Renyu's puzzled expression, Qian Daoliu continued.
"Humans have hunted Soul Beasts for Soul Rings for a long time. Even the Extreme North is no exception. The Soul Beasts here aren't surprised by it."
"I released the pressure of a Limit Douluo early on, too. Those Soul Beasts wouldn't be foolish enough to provoke me."
"They were worried about what could bring a Limit Douluo to the Extreme North. They wondered whether I'd come to attack the Soul Beasts here."
"Isn't the Extreme North said to have three great kings? Why did only one come? And it didn't seem to be the strongest one," Qian Renyu asked, puzzled.
"To me, it makes no difference which of the three comes."
The power of a Limit Douluo was truly terrifying.
"By the way, Yu'er, what's your second Soul Skill?" Qian Daoliu asked.
Qian Renyu answered at once. "I use Soul Power to create a great many snowflakes and control their speed as they fall from the sky. Once they reach the right positions, I make them explode, dealing damage over a wide area."
"I've named it Ten Thousand Pear Blossom Trees."
Listening to Qian Renyu's explanation of his second Soul Skill, Qian Daoliu thought, Why does each of his Soul Skills get more outrageous than the last?
Spirit City, Pope Palace
On the throne at the center of the Pope Palace's uppermost platform sat a stunning woman. She had delicate features, a superb figure, a graceful waist, and long, elegant legs. A crown rested on her head, and she held a scepter in her hand. She was none other than Bibi Dong, the Pope of Spirit Hall.
Two people stood below her. The one on her left had lovely, delicate features and smooth, fair skin as soft as a baby's. If not for the Adam's apple at his throat, anyone would have taken this peerless beauty for a woman. He was Chrysanthemum Douluo Yue Guan, a Titled Douluo of level ninety-five.
The one on her right was completely hidden in a cloud of black mist. Only his eyes were visible, and anyone standing near him could feel a chill, as though a ghost from the depths of hell were there. He was Ghost Douluo Gui Mei, a Titled Douluo of level ninety-five.
By then, Qian Daoliu had returned to the Worship Hall with Qian Renyu after hunting for a Soul Ring. Laughter and cheerful voices immediately rang through the hall.
Hearing them from her seat, Pope Bibi Dong said coldly, "They certainly sound happy."
"Is it because of the child the Fifth Enshrined brought back a while ago?"
At the Pope's question, Chrysanthemum Douluo Yue Guan hurriedly replied, "Yes. A few days ago, the Great Enshrined took him to obtain a Soul Ring. They should have just returned."
Hearing his answer, Bibi Dong said coldly, "He went to obtain a Soul Ring right after his Martial Soul Awakening. I didn't expect him to have Innate Full Soul Power."
"The Worship Hall certainly got lucky."
"Have you found out who the child is?"
At Bibi Dong's question, Chrysanthemum Douluo felt sweat break out along his back. The Worship Hall had kept Qian Renyu's affairs tightly under wraps, but he had still heard a few things.
He also knew about what had happened between Bibi Dong and Qian Xunji, and for a moment, he didn't know what to say.
Seeing Chrysanthemum Douluo hesitate, Bibi Dong grew displeased. She slammed her scepter against the floor and snapped, "Speak!"
Seeing her like that, Chrysanthemum Douluo didn't dare hide anything. He steeled himself and said, "I heard that the child is... is... the Great Enshrined's grandson."
"Qian Daoliu's grandson? Then he's Qian Xunji's son."
"Good. Very good indeed!"
Worship Hall
Qian Renyu went to see Qian Daoliu.
"Old man, I want to go out and get some experience."
Qian Daoliu nodded slightly at his words. "It's good to get out and see the world."
"Demon Bear, Ghost Leopard."
At Qian Daoliu's summons, Demon Bear Douluo and Ghost Leopard Douluo promptly came to the Worship Hall and bowed in unison. "Greetings, Great Enshrined."
Qian Daoliu nodded slightly.
"Yu'er, the mainland is nothing like Spirit City. Xue'er has Snake Lance and Pufferfish accompanying her to Heaven Dou City. When you travel, have Demon Bear and Ghost Leopard go with you."
"Old man, I'd also like to ask you for another Enshrined."
"An Enshrined?"
"Yu'er, Demon Bear and Ghost Leopard are both Titled Douluos at level ninety-four. There are few opponents on the mainland who can match them."
"As for becoming an Enshrined, I'm sure you know that only Titled Douluos at level ninety-five or above qualify. Where are you planning to go for this training?"

Demon Bear and Ghost Leopard were also eager to hear Qian Renyu's answer. After all, they were both level-ninety-four Titled Douluos, and they had the dignity befitting their rank.
There were pitifully few Titled Douluos on the mainland, and the ones in Spirit Hall were allies, so there was no need to worry about them.
The Clear Sky Sect, once hailed as the greatest sect under heaven, had long since shut its doors.
As for the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Sword Douluo Chen Xin was level ninety-six and Bone Douluo Gu Rong was level ninety-five. The two of them really were opponents Demon Bear and Ghost Leopard couldn't beat.
The Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan's Thunder Douluo Yu Yuanzhen was level ninety-five. They couldn't beat him either.
Apart from those three, there was no one else.
As for Poison Douluo Dugu Bo? He was hardly worth mentioning.
"Old man, I'm not planning to go anywhere dangerous. I'm worried about someone."
"Who?"
"Tang Hao."
"Tang Hao!" The name stirred a surge of killing intent in Qian Daoliu's heart.
Though his son Qian Xunji had died at Bibi Dong's hands, without Tang Hao, how could Qian Xunji have been gravely wounded? How could Bibi Dong have taken advantage of the situation?
Tang Hao couldn't escape responsibility for Qian Xunji's death.
Qian Daoliu had pursued Tang Hao over the matter back then, but for the sake of his old friend Tang Chen, he had ultimately held back.
(After all, at the time, Qian Xunji had only been gravely wounded and wasn't in mortal danger.)
As for how Tang Hao had managed to fight three opponents at once despite only just becoming a Titled Douluo, that was truly baffling.
After thinking it over, Qian Daoliu said, "Fine. Guang Ling has been clamoring to go out and have fun lately, so I'll have him go with you."
"Guangling Douluo!"
"No, no, no, no!"
When he heard that Qian Daoliu wanted Guangling Douluo to accompany him, Qian Renyu shook his head like a rattle drum.
Guangling Douluo was far too playful. If he went out with Qian Renyu, there was no telling who would end up looking after whom.
Seeing Qian Renyu refuse, Qian Daoliu asked, "Then who do you want to go?"
