Before they knew it, late autumn had arrived. Outside the cabin by the lake, withered yellow leaves slowly swirled down to the ground.
"Luo Ya, have you decided which Supreme Plane we're going to?" Milia asked with a smile, looking at the black-haired young man beside her.
Luo Ya glanced at the deep blue sky in the distance and answered without hesitation. "Hell."
"As for when, sometime soon."
At his current level of strength, it was about time he ventured into a Supreme Plane.
A few months would be just enough time to enjoy the continent's natural beauty. The Valen Plane was vast, but he had visited relatively few places.
"Traveling around the continent? That sounds pretty nice," Milia said, agreeing with the idea.
And so, before long,
they had left their footprints across the Luofu Mountain Range, the Moyun Mountain Range, the Parosi Empire, the Northrend Empire, the elven empire of Midgard, the Orc Grasslands, the Barbarian Plateau, the Southern Desert, and the Northern Ice Plains. They had even traveled to the distant Eastern Continent.
After their travels, and after saying goodbye to all their friends and family, they flew to the Phantom Forest, filled with anticipation.
The Phantom Forest was where the Valen Plane's Plane Teleportation Array was located.
This time, Luo Ya and the others planned to take only Morti with them to Hell. As for the Hellfire Phoenix Ignis and the Black Dragon Aoni, who had become gods by refining divine sparks, they would both remain in the Material Plane to protect Milia's parents.
Deep in the Phantom Forest, atop the Kulu Mountain Range.
"Good luck!"
After the Plane Overseer Laura activated the teleportation array, the three of them stepped inside.
A dazzling, illusory light flared, engulfing them. When it faded, the teleportation array stood empty.
******
One of the Four Supreme Planes, Hell!
A purple crescent moon, curved like a scythe, hung in the night sky, casting its hazy, eerie light over the boundless world below.
"Whoosh~"
A gentle breeze swept over the peak of a mountain that soared into the clouds.
Floating Cloud Peak was not especially steep, nor was its structure particularly unusual. It had only one distinguishing feature—it was high!
As the tallest peak in all of Hell, it had stood on the Bifu Continent ever since Hell came into being, witnessing the rise and fall of countless powerful beings.
A castle several thousand meters tall stood atop Floating Cloud Mountain. The ancient castle seemed to have existed since time immemorial, and from a distance, it glimmered faintly with a hazy, peculiar radiance beneath the night sky.
At the center of the emerald-green castle was a vast, perfectly level open space paved with a special bright yellow stone.
Two enormous magic arrays, each a hundred meters across, lay side by side on the open ground. Their patterns alone were incredibly intricate.
Two burly men stood beside each array.
All four wore emerald-green tunics beneath long robes trimmed in gold, and each bore a distinctive emerald-green mark on his forehead.
"Did you watch that Floating Shadow last time?" A burly man in a green robe with short brown hair was chatting with his companion.
The red-haired man in the green robe beside him nodded. "I went with the captain to watch it. That Lord Coles should already be a Six-Star Fiend." Within a single city, a Six-Star Fiend was already a major figure.
As they were talking—
"Vmmm~~"
One of the enormous magic arrays on the open ground glowed hazily once more. Three figures appeared in the center of the distorted array. When the hazy light faded, they came clearly into view.
At the front stood a black-haired young man with short hair, dressed in black swordsman's clothes. Beside him was a beautiful woman with golden hair coiled up and silver eyes. Behind them stood a young man with snow-white hair and a single horn, carrying himself like a servant.
They were Luo Ya, Milia, and Morti.
The three of them curiously surveyed their surroundings.
"The elemental energy here is so dense!" Morti was the first to notice how extraordinary Hell was.
The Plane Overseer had mentioned this before, saying that cultivating in Hell would make their progress skyrocket. It seemed she hadn't been exaggerating.
Milia looked around, particularly at the four burly men in green robes who looked like soldiers, and was quietly surprised.
Midgods!
She hadn't expected the soldiers guarding the teleportation array to be Midgods—and there were four of them.
Hell really was a place only the strong could come to.
Luo Ya was also taking in his surroundings. Although she had learned a little about Hell from the original story, that knowledge had only been words on a page. Being here in person felt entirely different.
"It's rare to see all three newcomers to Hell already at the god level. One of them even seems to be a Midgod. At least they were clever enough to come before reaching the Saint Realm..."
The brown-haired man in the green robe looked at Luo Ya and the others and laughed. The red-haired man in the green robe and the other two soldiers came over with him. Leading them was a silver-haired man wearing a strange metal mask.
The silver-haired man had a pair of cold, dark golden eyes. He walked straight over and said calmly, "Welcome to Hell, the world of the strong!"
He didn't greet everyone who arrived. Only god-level experts were worth a few words from him. After all, nearly everyone who became a god in a Material Plane was a genius, and might become powerful someday.
Of course, they first had to survive.
Luo Ya studied the silver-haired man. He wasn't concealing his aura, and his presence was powerful. He was likely a Midgod who had fused profound mysteries.
As for the others, they didn't seem much weaker than Bradic, at least not when Innate Divine Abilities were excluded.
"You three, go wait over there for now." The silver-haired man pointed to the edge of the open space, where several dozen beings stood silently. Nearly half were humans; the rest belonged to other races.
His voice remained unchanged as he continued, "We'll tell you everything you need to know. Tomorrow morning, we'll send you on your way!"
Perhaps because he'd noticed that Luo Ya was a Midgod, the silver-haired man and his companions were treating them rather kindly this time.
After speaking, he led the other three away.
"Come on, let's go wait over there." The three of them walked to the edge of the open space and looked around at the other beings, their curiosity piqued.
They had all come from various Material Planes and belonged to different races. Nearly half of them were even from races that didn't exist in the Valen Plane.
From time to time, the teleportation array lit up, bringing more beings from Material Planes. Only one of them was a Lowgod.
As time passed, humans, orcs, magical beasts, and all sorts of other lifeforms continued arriving in Hell. By the time a sun tinged with red rose above the horizon and cast its light over the castle atop Floating Cloud Peak, more than a hundred beings had arrived from the Material Planes.
Suddenly, footsteps sounded. One after another, green-robed figures strolled out of the courtyard gate nearby, chatting and laughing among themselves.
The hundred-plus green-robed figures split into several groups. A pink-haired woman leading one of them approached, smiling brightly.
The woman looked sweet and adorable, and quite charming, but none of the newcomers from the Material Planes dared underestimate her. They couldn't sense her aura at all.
Only Luo Ya's gaze sharpened slightly. She was a Highgod, and seemed to have already fused profound mysteries.
"I'll be in charge of escorting you this time."
As soon as the pink-haired woman finished speaking in her clear voice, a white-robed old man stepped out from behind her.
The old man in white rose into the air and flew above the emerald-green castle.
A flash of white light appeared, and the old man transformed into an enormous white dragon, nearly a hundred meters long. Its scales gleamed in the crimson sunlight as it coiled through the sky above the emerald-green castle.
Their journey into Hell had begun!
