The Metal Lifeform exploded, and the Fiends who had been inside it were left floating in midair, staring around in shock and confusion.
"What's going on?"
"Who is it this time?!"
The Fiends were both shocked and furious. Some even shouted curses aloud.
This was just a nameless hill. More than a hundred people slowly flew up from it, blocking the group's path.
The Fiends glared at them. These were the people who had just destroyed their Metal Lifeform.
"They're all Highgods?!" At first, the Fiends hadn't taken them seriously. There were only about a hundred people on the other side, fewer than their own group. But when they probed with their divine senses, they discovered that every single one of them was a Highgod!
A team of such elites clearly wasn't an ordinary band of bandits.
Among the hundred or so people who had flown up, a burly young man with a bare torso stepped forward. He glanced over the Fiends, then fixed his gaze on the elf girl, Miss Sherry.
"Target confirmed. Kill everyone except the elf girl. Leave no one alive!" The burly young man's voice was deep and resonant, but it brimmed with killing intent.
His words made every Fiend's face darken.
The elf girl and the others immediately turned to the Highgod Fiends for help. Aliquin also stepped in front of the group, then looked at the burly young man with a cold smile. "Kill everyone? Including me?"
The burly young man looked at him and sneered with disdain. "You're just a Six-Star Fiend. Don't flatter yourself. I was already a Fiend out there before you were even born!"
A flash of anger crossed Aliquin's pale face. "In Hell, living longer doesn't make you stronger!"
As he spoke, the black whip appeared in his hand once more. With a casual flick, it transformed into a great black serpent, sending strange ripples through the space of the Hell Plane.
"That all you've got?" The burly young man's wild hair fluttered in the wind. His tone was utterly indifferent.
"What an arrogant bastard!" Aliquin shot forward like a giant eagle diving from the sky, charging straight at him!
The black whip in his hand snapped forward. The great black serpent it had become surged toward his opponent, trailing wisps of black, ribbon-like mist. At the same time, the serpent opened its jaws, baring its black fangs.
"Hmph!"
Just as Aliquin was about to control the black serpent and coil it around his opponent, the burly young man suddenly snorted.
A series of violent ripples appeared around him. As his earth-yellow divine power churned, it formed a ten-meter-tall earth-yellow elemental giant out of thin air, with the burly young man himself at its very center.
"Hiss—"
At the burly young man's command, the ten-meter-tall elemental giant reached out with its left hand and grabbed the black serpent with ease!
"What?!" Aliquin was horrified. He tried to control the black whip and launch another attack.
"Smack!"
But the elemental giant was like an Earth Demon God. It grabbed both the serpent and Aliquin and yanked them toward itself!
"Die!"
The next instant, the elemental giant clenched its right hand into a fist and slammed it down at Aliquin as it was pulled closer!
Transparent ripples spread around the edges of its fist. "Break!"
At last, the ripples converged, punching a huge black hole straight through the Hell Plane!
One punch, and the space of Hell shattered!
"You're a Seven-Star Fiend!"
Aliquin was terrified. He immediately released the black whip and desperately used the Shadow Clone Technique, trying to evade the burly young man's powerful punch. But the other man's fist seemed locked onto him. He couldn't dodge it at all!
"Whoosh!"
As the terrifying punch hurtled toward him, Aliquin could clearly feel the aura of death.
If that punch hit him, he would die for certain!
At the critical moment, Aliquin roared in his soul, "Pusiluo!"
The next instant, "Meow!" A golden kitten shot out of his arms like lightning. It transformed into a blazing, scorching Meteor and charged fearlessly toward the enormous earth-yellow fist. The searing Meteor and the elemental giant's fist collided with tremendous force!
"Boom!" The fiery Meteor and Aliquin behind it plummeted at terrifying speed, like two kites with their strings cut, crashing straight into the rocks below.
The earth-yellow giant had taken the Meteor's full-force strike, and part of its fist had crumbled. But the damage was minor; an earth-yellow glow rippled over its surface, and it was restored in an instant.
Aliquin's strength was there for all to see. His pet kitten's strength was just as unfathomable. Yet together, the two had lost in a single move. It was clear just how terrifying the burly young man was.
Seeing that Aliquin and his companion were still alive, the earth-yellow giant laughed in a booming voice. "So you're a tough-skinned Volcano Giant. No wonder you survived a direct hit from my fist..."
As the laughter echoed above the hill, the earth-yellow giant launched another attack!
A torrent of earth-yellow fist shadows shot toward Aliquin. Space twisted, spawning countless ripples. When four of the fist shadows converged, they once again punched through the space of Hell!
"Pusiluo, hold him off!" After giving his pet one final command, Aliquin spun around and flew away without hesitation.
He knew the burly young man was undoubtedly a Seven-Star Fiend, far beyond anything he could contend with right now.
"Pusiluo..." Abandoning his capable companion made his heart ache as if it were bleeding. But to save his own life, he had no choice but to make the sacrifice.
"What?!"
"One punch shattered the space of Hell!"
"That man's a Seven-Star Fiend!"
"Go!"
"Run!"
The moment the burly young man threw his first punch, the other Fiends present had all gone pale.
Seven-Star Fiends were peerless experts whose names resounded throughout Hell!
With a powerhouse like that here, even if there were twice as many of them, they'd still be throwing their lives away!
"Run!"
Neither the Midgod Fiends nor the Highgod Fiends still thought about completing their mission. They had only one thought now: escape—get out alive!
"Run?" Among the group with the burly young man, a green-haired boy who looked rather young suddenly pulled out a green bamboo flute and raised it to his lips.
The next instant, a hum rang out between heaven and earth. A strange wave rapidly spread from the green-haired boy.
The Fiends fleeing in every direction suddenly shuddered. It was as if countless sounds of every size and strength had gathered into one strange Wind Sound and poured into their ears, leaving them dazed and bewildered.
"Pfft!" "Pfft!"...
The Highgods fared a little better, falling only into a dazed state for the moment. But many of the Midgod Fiends died right there in the music!
The tune played by the green-haired boy was a deathly requiem!
"What's happening?" Milia struggled to stay conscious, but she felt it growing harder and harder to resist.
She focused on the depths of her Soul Ocean and saw strange ripples within her soul power. Those ripples were what was affecting her soul.
"Is that the Profound Mystery of Sound?" Luo Ya looked at the green-haired boy, his expression changing at once.
To use the Profound Mystery of Sound to such an extent, the boy's Meaning of Sound had to be fully mastered.
