Alex froze, Bronze Tiger!

How could someone so formidable be Jack's subordinate!

Bronze Tiger wasn't his real name; his birth name was Benjamin Ben Turner. Bronze Tiger was one of the strongest martial artists in the DC world and one of the earliest members of the Suicide Squad. He was also the senior disciple of Richard Dragon and Lady Shiva. Although he possessed no superpowers, his formidable combat skills still placed him among the ranks of the strongest mercenaries and assassins.

How strong was he? Let's put it this way: there were a few top martial artists in the DC world. One of them was the renowned Batman. Bronze Tiger had defeated Batman with his bare hands multiple times, which was enough to demonstrate his strength.

Bronze Tiger could be considered a representative of the strongest humans on Earth, though he wasn't particularly famous in DC comics, nowhere near as widely known as Batman.

But the problem was, how did Bronze Tiger become Jack's subordinate!

Was it to repay a life-saving debt that he casually helped Jack rule the lower city?

This Jack guy...

Alex no longer knew how to describe this guy. A world-class martial artist was under his command. It was no wonder he had so easily dealt with the Crimson Angels gang and could simultaneously help him rule the lower city.

Alex didn't converse with Bronze Tiger, nor did he have the mentality of a transmigator wanting to check out local powerhouses. Apart from a few guys in the Justice League he wanted to see, Alex had no particular desire to befriend other heroes or villains. His mindset was more like: Oh... you're that awesome person from my memory, followed by I won't bother with you, nor do I want to get acquainted.

As long as they didn't interfere with him, Alex would let fate take its course.

His previous physical limits weren't inferior to Bronze Tiger's; it was just that his combat experience wasn't as rich as Bronze Tiger's, who had experienced countless battles. But Alex had now surpassed his own limits, becoming immeasurably more agile and powerful than before. Bronze Tiger wouldn't be his opponent, so Alex had even less reason to seek acquaintance.

In DC comics, Bronze Tiger could generally be seen as a loyal, generous, forthright, and steady character. Facing Jack's life-saving grace, Alex could roughly guess Bronze Tiger's thoughts. He just felt inwardly that Jack's luck was truly incredible, to have saved a severely injured Bronze Tiger and unexpectedly taken him in as a subordinate. For a period, Jack would be completely safe under Bronze Tiger's protection.

Knowing Jack's safety was secured, Alex gave a few brief instructions, telling Jack to pay attention to the lower city and that he would take action next, instructing him to prepare to take over the territories of the other two gangs and completely dominate the lower city, then hung up the phone.

One day later, Alex officially began his operations.

He organized his prepared superhero suit and put it on piece by piece.

A black combat uniform made from Kevlar and titanium metal. The suit was bulletproof, explosion-proof, impact-resistant, stab-proof, and fire-resistant and insulated. It fit snugly like a shirt, not hindering his mobility. The gloves and boots were also black, specially reinforced to protect Alex from the recoil damage when attacking with his fists and feet.

Wearing the complete black suit, Alex stood tall before the mirror, looking sharp and clean, exuding a cool and resolute aura.

He took off his black-rimmed glasses, revealing his full face. His demeanor suddenly changed, giving people a striking impression. His black pupils were deep, with a beauty mark beneath his eye, and his lips curved into a faint, indifferent smile, all giving the impression of gentleness mixed with his coldness.

However, in reality, he was naturally detached, heartless, and cold. His deep black pupils concealed a chilling ruthlessness.

He placed the black glasses back in the display case and picked up the black trench coat from the table beside him. He slipped his right hand into it, adjusted the angle slightly, then put his left hand through. With both hands, he adjusted the front of the trench coat to make it fit more snugly. Then, he reached back with his right hand to his head, pulled out the hidden hood inside the coat, and pulled it over his head. Instantly, his presence became cold and mysterious.

Many of Alex's equipment were actually inspired by Batman's gear. This was because, previously, he and Batman both possessed strength at the peak of human physical limits. According to Alex's plan, with the mature concept of Batman's equipment, he directly incorporated many of Batman's gear, modifying them for his own use as a superhero.

For example, the black trench coat was a blend of special memory fiber and Kevlar fiber made from nylon. It could flutter like any fiber clothing. However, after charging the fibers, it would rapidly harden and become fire-resistant and insulated. It also had many internal pockets for storing various small, flat items like throwing knives, coins, and other concealed weapons. When the hem of the black trench coat was unfurled, it could be electrified from the back to harden, forming a glider for effective escape from high places.

This was originally similar to Batman's cape. Later, Alex felt that a cape was truly the romance of comic book heroes and was very limiting in combat situations. Although he could roll up the cape, it clearly wasn't suitable for him, so he changed it into a black trench coat, thickened many of the inner linings, and added many more functions.

Furthermore, in the past few days, Alex had been training his Magnetic Psionics and discovered that he didn't need technology to electrify it; he could harden it himself using Magnetic Psionics. Thus, he removed the function of electrified hardening and the glider.

After putting on the black trench coat, Alex casually selected some throwing knives, daggers, coins, small plastic explosives, smoke bombs, and other items, placing them into the inner lining of his coat. Additionally, he attached a small cutter, a breathing apparatus, and a simple grappling hook rope to his belt, placing them on his waist. As long as they didn't hinder his movement or combat, these small items weren't heavy, and Alex didn't mind preparing them fully to avoid any unforeseen accidents.

He also removed many other small items because he could accomplish some of them with his Magnetic Psionics, so there was no need to carry too much. For instance, the gauntlets had built-in electro-magnets, which could create a very strong adhesive force, helping Alex climb and move on walls more easily. But after the appearance of his Magnetic Psionics ability, Alex found that he didn't need the gloves' function; he could create countless small hooks himself with Magnetic Psionics to cling to his body. Thus, he changed the gloves to lighter black armored gloves for easier combat.

In a few days, he had re-modified his various small items. Originally, his equipment was extremely similar to Batman's, but due to his Magnetic Psionics ability, many things were no longer needed, and instead, he developed his own unique style.

Finally, Alex put on the complete superhero gear. He used his fingers to fasten the buttons on the front of his trench coat one by one, from bottom to top.

After fastening them, as the hem of the black trench coat fluttered, he walked directly to the display case where the mask was kept.

There lay a mask with no facial features, smooth with the curvature of half an egg, gleaming with a silver glow, a full-face mask. The mask only had two horizontal slits for the eye positions, appearing inexplicably cold and terrifying.

Taking out the mask, Alex placed it on his face with his right hand, adjusting it into place.

Instantly, within his all-black uniform and trench coat, the hood's brim shaded his eye area, revealing the greater half of the smooth silver mask, resembling the Grim Reaper in the darkness, sending chills down one's spine.
