Bronze Tiger felt every cell in his body become sensitive with stimulation. Adrenaline surged through his nerves like a raging inferno, his blood coursing hot, converging in his heart. His heart pounded in his ears like a war drum, and even the most minute parts of his body, from his backside with its sparse nerves to his earlobes and little toe, felt incredibly sensitive and stimulated.
Everything around him – the night, the faint dust carried by the air currents, visible in the high beams – was clearly perceived by his tiger-like eyes. A trace of ferocious crimson and sharp focus was present in his pupils.
The unique, turbid, decaying smell of the Undercity wafted into his nostrils.
A faint chill permeated the air, perceived by his sensitive skin.
Adrenaline had pushed Bronze Tiger to the absolute limit of human physical potential, enhancing all his senses and strength. His dark skin was taut, his presence commanding. He felt like a cruel beast, tempered by wind and rain, forged through countless trials in the wild.
He had reached his limit, the very pinnacle of limits.
How powerful was the ultimate strength of a human?
Each muscle fiber could generate approximately 0.3 micronewtons of force, and a square centimeter of muscle could produce about 100 newtons (around 10 kilograms) of force. However, forearm bones would shatter under a pressure of approximately 5,000 kilograms. If we assume arm muscles could provide half the force, with the rest coming from the legs, hips, and shoulders, you would still need to mobilize the triceps and all muscles within a 55-centimeter radius to achieve such power.
Strength Limit: 5,000 kilograms!
This was the result of the most rigorous training, of understanding how to utilize every muscle fiber in the body, controlling the force of every square centimeter of muscle, and applying power in a way that best matched one's own physical rhythm and musculature.
Bronze Tiger had undergone the world's most demanding training and martial arts practice, honed by the stimulation of life and death to achieve the ultimate human physique.
"Come on!"
Bronze Tiger stepped forward, his eyes crimson, his dark face contorted with ferocious fighting spirit. Yet, a sense of foreboding flashed through his mind, a premonition of failure and death.
He dared not dwell on it.
Swift as a fierce tiger, he attacked, his feet leaving craters in the concrete as he charged forward like a speeding truck.
Alex gazed at Bronze Tiger, aware of how powerful he was, having pushed his body to its absolute limit through adrenaline. Still, a faint sigh escaped him.
Bronze Tiger was formidable, his combat experience and fighting techniques reaching a level rarely seen. In these aspects, Alex had to admit, Bronze Tiger surpassed him significantly.
Sigh...
But Bronze Tiger was facing him, Alex, who would one day evolve into a Divine Dragon, a myth transcending human biology.
This compelled Alex to feel a pang of melancholy and a desire to strike down Bronze Tiger.
Just as Bronze Tiger charged forward with momentum like a truck, Alex stood unmoving, as steadfast as a mountain. He calmly extended his left hand, his Magnetic Psionics surging forth, creating ripples in the air illuminated by the high beams.
In an instant, Alex's Magnetic Psionics formed countless invisible tendrils half a meter in front of him, like an invisible carpet, its fuzzy surface facing Bronze Tiger. As Bronze Tiger's fist, carrying thousands of kilograms of force, charged forward, the Magnetic Psionics transformed into numerous tendrils. They met Bronze Tiger's body's magnetic field, rapidly frictioning, assimilating, and connecting with it.
The kill was almost instantaneous.
The physical Magnetic Psionics possessed a resonant compatibility with the physical magnetic field of every human.
This was molecular-level control of magnetic fields, not only manipulating his own but also influencing others.
Especially for someone like Bronze Tiger, who possessed exceptional physical conditioning and a prominent magnetic field, and whose magnetic field Alex couldn't control on his own, it made Alex's control even easier.
Alex knew that the emergence of this physical Magnetic Psionics was a prerequisite for his future evolution into a Divine Dragon, to control that mythical physique. Even so, at this stage, this physical Magnetic Psionics was overwhelmingly powerful, a guaranteed kill for anyone unable to regulate their own magnetic field.
In that instant, Bronze Tiger froze. The adrenaline receded, his entire aura deflating like a popped balloon. His eyes widened in shock, staring at his fist in disbelief.
"You have a strange superpower?"
Bronze Tiger felt as if the muscles, fibers, and blood in his arm were hooked by countless fishing hooks. Alex seemed to be using innumerable steel fishing hooks, snagging his flesh. With the slightest movement from Alex, his muscles and bones would be pulled out, flesh and bone separated, a terrifying prospect.
Most terrifyingly, Bronze Tiger's danger sense had only registered a slight unease during the attack. But once his magnetic field was completely under Alex's control, it felt as if Alex's power was emanating directly from within his arm, capable of ending him instantly. Only then did Bronze Tiger's danger sense violently register the horror of his life and death being manipulated.
"No, I've surpassed the limit of human physical potential."
Alex shook his head, gently lowering his left hand and releasing his magnetic field control over Bronze Tiger. The needle-like tendrils detached from Bronze Tiger's physical magnetic field.
Physical Magnetic Psionics had an exceptional compatibility and control over the magnetic fields emitted by the body's cells.
Unless an opponent could also control their own magnetic field and possessed peculiar abilities, most ordinary people would be suppressed by Alex's physical Magnetic Psionics. No matter how powerful their fighting skills or combat experience, they would be of little use.
Bronze Tiger stared, gently shaking his arm. In that moment, he had been utterly incapable of counterattack. His arm, from the inside out, was invisibly controlled. Any movement he made would result in him being torn apart. That feeling of internal control, of being instantly ripped apart, bone and flesh separated.
"This is impossible!" Hearing Alex claim to have surpassed the limit of human physical potential, Bronze Tiger instinctively retorted.
Was the limit of human physical potential so easily surpassed?
Even he, Batman, Richard Dragon, and Lady Shiva had only ever trained their fighting techniques and refined their control over their bodies. Even the leader of the League of Assassins had entered the Fountain of Youth for an alternative form of reinforcement and continuation due to the limitations of human physical potential.
Through mere training, one could not surpass the limit of human physical potential.
Bronze Tiger's eyes gazed at Alex with disbelief. Instantly, he felt Alex's entire body was a cohesive whole, without any flaws. His heart suddenly relaxed, filled with surprise.
"Is this... real? Have you surpassed the limit of human physical potential by gaining a powerful ability, or is it mental control?" Bronze Tiger asked, his eyes wide with a desire to explore the physical.
