On the snowy night when the Yulan Calendar turned from 9999 to 10000, snowflakes swirled through the air and the temperature throughout Fenlai City plunged to an astonishing low. In the cold chamber of the Radiant Temple, Linley leaned against the icy stone wall.
Linley didn't feel the cold at all.

Linley revealed his strength, and then Hillman told him the truth. Linley also saw the letter Hogg had written to him in his own hand.
Linley embarked on his journey of revenge.
He killed Duke Patterson by cruel means, and also learned that the true culprit was the king of the Kingdom of Fenlai, Clayde.
