After all, the Plane Battlefield was held only once every trillion years. It was true that each event consisted of a dozen or so battles, but that was only worthwhile if you killed enough soldiers.

With this method, though, they could produce Sovereign's Might in quantity as long as they had enough Inkstones. No one had to risk their life in the Plane Battlefield.

That was what mattered most. Others acquired Sovereign's Might to save their lives, while you had to risk yours to get it. Wasn't that putting the cart before the horse?

Hodan didn't think anyone would dare try to seize the Sovereign's Might within the city, but he still had to take precautions. Huoxie's involvement would also ease the pressure on Silvermoon. Even a Paragon wouldn't make an enemy of another Paragon over a few drops of Sovereign's Might.
