Augusta spoke to Huosi with an air of amusement.
"Here's an idea: you and I fight. If you can beat me, I'll give you everything. If you lose, you give me your Supreme Artifact. How about that?"
Hearing Augusta's words, Huosi replied with open mockery and not a hint of respect.
"You—you dare speak to me like that!"
Augusta flew into a rage. How dare a mere Lower Sovereign!
Augusta took a deep breath, then looked at Oufu and the others.
"Lords, you've all seen it. He keeps targeting me, and he stole my spoils. If I kill him, that won't violate the Sovereigns' agreement, will it?"
"Augusta, you can't kill him yet!"
Utrede furrowed his brow and spoke with displeasure.
"Huosi, no matter how you look at it, you did steal Augusta's spoils. Him killing you wouldn't violate the Sovereigns' agreement."
"Why don't I bear witness? Hand over the Sovereign Spark and the essence blood, and I'll make sure he lets the matter go. How does that sound?"
Oufu looked at Huosi and spoke gently.
The other three frowned but didn't speak up right away.
They couldn't very well interfere directly in the dispute between Huosi and Augusta.
But if Huosi really handed the Sovereign Spark and essence blood over to Augusta, given Augusta's relationship with Oufu, Oufu would most likely end up with them anyway.
Utrede couldn't accept the thought of Oufu getting the essence blood.
As for Death Sovereign, she would rather leave it all with Huosi than let Utrede and Oufu get their hands on it, but she didn't have
