Background / History

Beirut was born on the Yulan Material Plane as a God-Eater Rat, a super divine beast capable of consuming divine sparks to strengthen his body. Before leaving the plane, he spent centuries accumulating godheads and avoided provoking enemies with powerful backers. He ruled the Dark Forest and exerted extensive influence over Linley's early life through Beibei, the War God, and Desli's family. 39 40 106

While collecting godheads on the Magical Beast Continent, Beirut killed a red-haired god by activating his innate divine ability, attacking the man's soul and swallowing his extracted godhead. Huosi, Adkins, Pusiluo, and Leilin then approached him. Recognizing their overwhelming strength, Beirut immediately accepted Huosi's offer to serve under him. 39 40

After joining Huosi, Beirut became both a subject and a researcher in the Divine Beast Bloodline Research Project. He provided essence blood from the God-Eater Rat, temporarily weakening himself, but Huosi compensated him with large quantities of godheads that further reinforced his body. 43
