With two powerful figures on its side, the Umbrella Corporation's growth accelerated dramatically.
Ultron was a treasure trove of talent. After building a large database and server room, his computing power increased significantly, allowing him to multitask. His heartless boss worked him to the bone, making one machine handle twenty large, medium, and small projects.
The hardware for the full-dive virtual reality game was being developed in an orderly fashion. With existing technology to draw on, progress was extremely fast.
Sixteen days after starting work, Ultron produced the first version of the headset and console. The tests went well. They just needed to bring the cost down to a reasonable level and reduce the console's size before the full-dive virtual reality game could move on to the design stage.
Aside from the virtual reality game hardware, Ultron was also working on Powered Exoskeleton armor, space survival systems, and various kinds of engineering equipment.
At the same time, he had to operate construction robots and work alongside laborers in Delta County, Colorado, to build a manufacturing plant.
On the surface, the plant would produce various kinds of industrial and agricultural machinery. Behind the scenes, however, they were using the cover of the forest to build an underground shipyard where the two Valkyrie Shuttles under construction could be parked.
Though they were called Valkyrie Shuttles, their main purpose was probably transportation.
Flying in a straight line through the sky was much faster than shipping by sea, and the shuttles' enormous size made them useful for carrying cargo or serving as airborne command centers.
Once they started opening portals, they could send a Valkyrie Shuttle through after confirming it was safe and use it as a mobile transit hub.
Who knew? They might encounter some strange and dangerous worlds in the future!
