The Ranger, whose contamination had been successfully purged, was quickly "healed," and his removed limbs were reattached.
The two were pressed for time and had no time to wait for Hubwick to wake up. Borne directly took out two bottles of alchemical potion and poured them into the Ranger's mouth.
"What's this?"
Lisper was very curious about Borne's strange and unusual things.
"Alchemical potions. They can somewhat restore mental energy and stamina."
Lisper picked up the empty bottles and gave them a sniff, then shot Borne an odd look.
"They're only semi-finished products. Some ingredients need to be fermented, so you know... the smell isn't exactly pleasant..."
But honestly, Borne's potions really did work. Hubwick soon woke up, only to receive the information delivered by his taste buds and immediately start dry-heaving on the spot.

Borne scooped some water from the barrel with a ladle and handed it to Hubwick. "Here, drink some holy water and take it easy."
Looking at the "holy water" in the ladle, Hubwick recalled the soul-crushing pain he had suffered during that "bath." It had hurt so badly he had wanted to die on the spot, and he had lost control of his body—his bladder included...
Faced with the spiked "holy water" and remembering the taste that had just been in his mouth, Hubwick could not help vomiting again. It felt as though his stomach were about to turn inside out.
Fortunately, Lisper, who could no longer bear to watch, fetched him some clean water, allowing Hubwick
