Every mighty being in the world, along with the immortals of the Immortal Court, watched the dead return to life on the blood-red earth covered by the Heavenly Dao Prophet's flesh. They saw with their own eyes those "corpses" lift their heads and grin savagely at them. Their newly reopened, clouded eyes brimmed with the desire for slaughter and greed. This was the instinct of Underworld creatures!
Those bloodthirsty gazes revived from the Underworld struck terror even into the towering immortals above the heavens.
And the instigator of it all...
