Hatake lifted his head and looked at Kakashi. "Really?"
"Why would I lie to you? This thing is incredibly precious to us, but to Grandmaster Torifu, it's just the simplest thing he can hand out."
"Don't worry about it too much. If Grandmaster Torifu gave it to you, that means you earned his approval."
Hearing that, Hatake was finally completely at ease.
"All right, then I'm relieved. Shall we go home together?"
Kakashi smiled faintly. "Yeah, let's go home together. When we get there, we'll show Father and make him jealous."
