Jiraiya waved it off casually. "I just wandered around some smaller countries, then went to the Land of Water. Their country went through a disaster, so it'll probably be hard for them to recover. Their strength is going to drop by a huge margin."
Hearing talk about nations and wars again, A-Gang instantly lost interest.
No matter when it was, she hated war most of all, and she absolutely did not want war to come again.
"Have you gone to see The Old Man yet?"
Jiraiya nodded. "I did. He's changed a lot. So much that I almost couldn't believe those were really words he could say."
A-Gang smiled. "He changed a little too late. The village was already ruined beyond recognition by those old bastards."
"Now that things have come to this, they just dusted off their hands and left, dumping a huge mess on Minato to clean up. If that kid weren't so talented, he definitely would've been held back."
Jiraiya agreed with A-Gang, but there was nothing to be done. People who had held power their whole lives would more or less grow muddleheaded in their old age.
All he could say was that it was fortunate The Old Man had not caused too much damage to Konoha. Now, everything had already been made up for by Minato, and that could already be considered the best ending.
"There's nothing we can do. The Old Man had merits and faults, so let them balance out. We can't really blame him either. After all, everything we know was learned from him."
