At the End of the Cave
Mito was indeed very calm. She carefully examined the wall and discovered something unusual in a patch of grass.
When she pushed it aside, there was actually a tiny cave hidden there.
The entrance was extremely small, only large enough for one person to pass through at a time.
Although cramped, it did look like a good place to hide.
"Should we go take a look? We might just find the people we're looking for."
Mito agreed quite readily. Although the gap at the cave entrance was very narrow, they were ninja, so they still had ways to manage it.
They only needed to compress their bones slightly, and they could get through at once.
After exchanging a glance, the two of them headed toward the cave.
Only after entering the cave did they truly realize just how narrow it was.
Hashirama really began to doubt the authenticity of the information. If there really were ninja from the Uzumaki Clan here, how could they possibly live in a place like this?
"Mito, should we go back? I feel like we may have taken the wrong path."
Hashirama could not even turn his head to speak with Mito and could only maintain his forward-crawling posture.
There was no need to mention how stifling it felt inside.
Mito denied it. "You're a Six Paths Level ninja. Can't you sense it? Such obvious Chakra fluctuations!"
Hearing Mito say that, Hashirama was genuinely stunned for a moment.
"Huh? I actually forgot!"
