Torifu waved a hand. "It's fine. You're leaving anyway, and we'll probably be strangers in the future, so there's no need to worry about those things."
Though his words stung, Arashi only nodded. It seemed he had already made his choice.
The boy had decided to put his country first and everything else second.
"Good. You've got spirit. Go get some proper experience in the Otherworld. When you're done, I'll send you back to the Land of Whirlpools."
The Land of Whirlpools had been utterly peaceful lately, like a stagnant pond. The entire country had practically ground to a halt.
Torifu had been forced to step in and deal with some matters, stabilizing the country first.
In a way, he had been forced to do the Land of Whirlpools a favor.

Torifu shook his head. "No. If you never complete your tasks, you'll never be allowed to leave."
"If you choose to give up, I'll give up on you too. Konoha will cease all cooperation with the Land of Whirlpools, and your country will be left to fend for itself."
The consequences would be severe, and the price would be devastating.
