Seeing the look on Konan's face, Yahiko comforted her. "Don't worry. Now that we've discovered the other Shinobi World, there's no way Master will only go there once. He has his reasons."
That might be true, but Konan still felt a little left out. She and Yahiko had always gone on missions together, yet this time Yahiko was going alone.
"Your jutsu is too distinctive. I'd guess that in the Otherworld, we're still wandering around the Land of Rain, and might even be enemies of Konoha."
Yahiko analyzed the situation seriously. "If you went and used your jutsu, Konoha would recognize you right away, which would interfere with Master's plans."
That was Yahiko's own analysis, but Torifu did indeed have the same concern.
After all, she was currently the only ninja in the entire Shinobi World who used paper, so she would be easy to recognize.
But that wasn't the whole story. Torifu's main reason was that it wasn't time for Konan to make an appearance yet.
Yahiko's jutsu wasn't as conspicuous. If he only used Water Release, he probably wouldn't reveal his identity.
At this point in time, Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato were trying to get their organization off the ground. Torifu would feel bad if their efforts were disrupted or something happened to them.
Torifu planned to send Yahiko and Konan once he had made contact with the Akatsuki.
After giving Yahiko's analysis some thought, Konan seemed to deflate. "All right. I suppose that's the only option."
Konan was sensible. She believed that for something as important as exploring the Otherworld, Master must have devised a very careful plan to ensure everything went smoothly.
She couldn't let her own childishness affect the bigger picture. Master had taught her that from a young age.
Seeing that Konan had recovered,
