Torifu instantly arrived at the Sarutobi Clan Grounds. After finding Biwako, he told her about Mikoto and immediately brought her over.
Fugaku was completely bewildered. How had Torifu brought someone back in just a minute?
But he had no time to think about it. "Biwako-sama, please help my wife!"
Biwako patted Fugaku on the shoulder. "Don't panic. I'll go in and take a look first. Chirori is in there too, isn't she? The two of us should be able to handle it."
Torifu smiled awkwardly. What good would Chirori be in there? She wasn't a Medical Ninja either.
"Maybe I should get Tsunade as well. The two of you can work together; that'll be safer."
Another minute later, Torifu had brought Tsunade over from home.
She still looked a little dazed, but after Torifu explained what had happened, she understood.
"Then let's not waste time. We should go in."
Biwako nodded at once.
With Konoha's best gynecologist and its finest medic here, all of Fugaku's anxiety disappeared.
"Don't worry. There won't be any problems. The jutsu I just used can last a long time, and Mikoto will stay fairly conscious throughout."
Fugaku thanked Torifu again.
"No need. You're Chirori's student, so you're practically my student too. Of course we'd come help when Mikoto was giving birth."
And so, Mikoto's labor lasted around three or four hours.
Just as Fugaku was growing increasingly anxious, a baby's cry came from inside the room.
The room erupted in joy.
Biwako wrapped the baby in a swaddling cloth.
Then she opened the door and came out. "Fugaku, take a look at your second son. Isn't he adorable?"
Fugaku gazed at the tiny baby in the swaddling cloth, unable to stop grinning.
