From the ground, a huge fireball seemed to be hurtling toward Konoha at high speed!
To avoid causing a commotion, Torifu extinguished the flames himself.
As soon as Kakashi landed, the crystal shattered.
With nothing holding him up, Kakashi dropped straight to the ground.
He gasped for breath.
"Grandmaster... I was wrong, Grandmaster."
Torifu smiled at Kakashi. "Mm, good. Every one of you achieved the results I expected. Now it's time for your rewards. Come with me."
The three of them immediately broke into smiles. At least all that suffering hadn't been for nothing! Grandmaster would surely give them something good!
The four of them vanished from the entrance to the Hatake Clan Grounds.
Hatake Sakumo had heard a commotion at the entrance and thought something had happened to the kids. But when he came out to look, there was no one in sight.
He scratched his head, then went back inside the grounds.
When they appeared again, Kakashi and the others had arrived at the Yunzhong Clan Grounds.
"Obito... Rin!"
Minato Namikaze, who had been chatting with Kushina, saw the two of them and immediately trembled as he ran over!
The deaths of these two students were the things he regretted and mourned most.
He was their teacher, yet he hadn't been able to protect them. That pain had never left Minato Namikaze's heart.
And today, Rin and Obito had appeared right before him.
Kakashi had only just landed. Before he, Obito, and Rin could even take in their surroundings, Minato Namikaze pulled them into his arms.
"Minato-sensei! What are you doing? Also, aren't you supposed to be at work today?"
Obito couldn't stand the mushy scene and kept pushing Minato Namikaze away. But he was nowhere near as strong as Minato Namikaze, so his efforts were useless.
