A bishop who had defected?
At the head of the mottled table, the Fool, Klein, lost himself in thought for a moment. He thought of another bishop who had left a True Deity's Church, one who had also made a deep impression on him.
Ince Zangwill. Could outside forces have played a part in his defection with 0-08?
Most likely, 0-08 itself was that outside force.
"Defected?" Cyril was a little surprised, too.
"A severely wounded Wind-blessed could escape from under the Sea King's nose?"
The Hanged Man, Alger, shook his head slightly. "I don't know. That's not the sort of information I can get my hands on."
"All we know for now is that the Church of Storms is conducting a thorough search of the entire island to deal with the cultists who performed the bloody sacrifices. At this rate, the affairs on Bansi Island will probably be completely resolved in another day or two. The large-scale searches and population transfers on Bansi Island have also seriously affected the sea route between Loen and the Rorsted Archipelago."
"Meanwhile, with the Sea King temporarily stationed on Bansi, the local rebels and pirates in the Rorsted Archipelago will probably be especially active over the next few days."
As an upper-class noble of the Loen Kingdom, Justice, Audrey, had some understanding of the situation in the Rorsted Archipelago. Somewhat puzzled, she asked, "The Sea King of the Church of Storms should be an important force stationed in the Rorsted Archipelago. Why did he have to go to Bansi Island? Has the Church of Storms run out of people of comparable strength to send?"
The Hanged Man, Alger, shook his head slightly. "I don't think so. As far as I know, the bishop of the Sea Wave Cathedral in Bayam is a Demigod."
