Tony's armor had only 20% energy left, and the sleek, refined Mark III was inherently at a disadvantage against a hulking brute like Iron Monger.

After Obadiah gave him a brutal pounding, Tony finally remembered to lure him into the sky and try to freeze him to death at high altitude.

But Iron Monger really was sturdy. It could still leap around after taking a bear paw strike from Oaks that could clash head-on with Hulk, and falling from the stratosphere had only knocked it unconscious for a moment.

Tony had barely landed shakily on the rooftop when Obadiah came charging after him again.

And Tony truly had reached the end of his rope now. He could not even fly anymore.

"Hey, buddy, Pepper has already gotten far away. Need backup?"

While Tony was being held tightly by Obadiah, a Falcon glowing green landed atop Iron Monger's head.

"Of course! If you'd come any later, I'd have had to consider blowing up the Arc Reactor!"

Tony burst out laughing, only to see the Falcon across from him tilt its head. Green light swirled around its sharp talons as it ripped out the tangled mass of cables behind Iron Monger's head in one pull!

"What the fuck kind of bird is that?!"

Ignoring Obadiah's roar, Oaks grabbed Mark III and dragged it aside.

"The Reactor is so expensive. How could you blow it up? If you want a new one, just give me this old one."

"...No problem!"

Tony opened his faceplate and looked strangely at Oaks, who stood on his left shoulder.

"Why do I feel like I'm hunting right now?"

"You're overthinking it, No-Power Man!"

"Hey, what you just tore out were the circuits for his helmet.
